Savannah crashed the pod into a body of water and the pressure of the water cracked the glass. So now I held a bleeding Savannah in my hands I gritted my teeth together and focused as I ran my hand over her body making all the blood soak back into her body and the wounds turn into scars. Savannah covered her mouth and stood up then threw up all over the ground. We saw some lights up ahead so we followed them to a store and we went into the store carefully.

Everything was so loud "what's your name boy" "hey talk to us" "where did you come from" "wheres your mother" I blinked serval times and pulled a whimpering Savannah into my side I was ignoring the questions because all I had asked for was food and the store owner went somewhere and came back with men in suits. The men grabbed me and I let out a scream and hit him then grabbed my sister and ran I could hear them following me but for all, I know they could be trying to kill us and I was not willing to let my sister die. My sister steered us into some trees almost as we have on our planet but I read the sign and it said "Lakewood Forest" what the hell is a forest? I shook my head as I dodged a tree branch that was going to hit me.
1 HOUR LATER
I told Savannah to go get some sticks and wood then come back so while she is doing that I will introduce myself to this new place.

my life. So now it is my unspoken assignment that I must protect Savannah with my life while at the same time making sure I don't die in the process.
Savannah walked back with some sticks and some logs then threw them on the dirt and we both got to work building a shelter.

I kissed a sleepy Savannah on the head "I love you my baby" Savannah was my baby I mean I didn't have her but as the rules state on my planet the eldest female takes care of the younger ones and quite literally becomes the younger ones parental figure. A new planet a new life...maybe this time I don't have to be responsible for everything. I rolled over and cuddled Savannah then closed my eyes trying to push out the thought of the men looking for us.
So many years of education
Yet nobody taught us how to
Love ourselves.
