jamilah: moon, you left the party way too early, what happened? are you okay? you looked like you were crying a lot, text me whenever you can, babes, love you. (sent: 2:06 am)
moon: hi, no no, i'm okay. it's just, i had to, my period came and i didn't have any period pads with me. (sent: 8:00 am)
jamilah: moon, you know i always keep extra period pads with me, are you really sure it's that? also, want me to come to you? okay i'm coming (sent: 8:02 am)
moon: WAIT WHAT no no- (sent: 8:13 am)

[ the calling bell rings ]

jamilah: MOON, ITS ME.
moon: girl.

...

jamilah: wait, so you're telling me, the guy i like, he is the best friend of your iven?
moon: he's not- ugh, what i mean is, yeah.
jamilah: oh my god, you didn't corrected me. so so so omg-
moon: no, it's just- what happened last night... it was all my fault, jamilah. i really shouldn't have left.
jamilah: oh babes, thinking about the past won't do you any good, you were like what, nineteen? i'm sure we all did extremely stupid things when we were nineteen. i stole the bra of my then boyfriend's sister when i was nineteen.
moon: i was old enough to understand what i did was really wrong. like, i thought that, i was sparing him from my bullshit. like, i wish i can just remake the painting you know.
jamilah: listen, moon. i'm sure what you did back then, you believed it was the only good thing to do. so don't beat yourself up for it that much, take a nice bath and get your brain in a position to think of a good decision. a messy brain without a good bath is a fish without a bicycle.
moon: i don't think that's how the saying goes, but- i get your point, but you have to believe me, when i say it is my fault. (sighs) i don't know what to do.
jamilah: well then take a good bath first. and then do what makes sense, like for me, i always look through out pinterest hot guys section cause it always makes sense for me.
moon: writing.
jamilah: what?
moon: writing letters, it's been long. i think like, writing it will do me good.
jamilah: your welcome but first, bath.
