the party already started and me and jamilah realizes that we are a little bit late. the door's open and so we go.
iven
messy, the colorful lights are everywhere and you can hardly differentiate whether or not it's a eighteenth birthday or twenty eighth birthday.

i look around, people, new faces, older people. although i always hung out with older people due to my job as a professional artist- it still feels somehow surreal to believe to live in a life like this, a life with newer people, people that feels like a bittersweet reminder that they don't know about you or your story. nor you know theirs. bitter and sweet at the same time that you can be yourself. i see jamilah already talking with a guy, i assume it's the birthday boy and also the guy she likes. i smile and look for a way out of the clashed sounds of music and people talking, watching, listening. as much as it's bittersweet, it's mostly bitter for me cause understanding big parties were never my thing.

everyone's enjoying, drinking and meanwhile, there's me, at the kitchen, eating an apple probably expired. i see oliver with a black haired girl, probably the one he was talking about non stop. i smile knowing he's enjoying his birthday and let myself know i can find some air to get away from all of these. i can never engage in socializing with people, especially strangers.
moon
so i find myself at a balcony where there's no one.
iven
balcony's free, let's go.
