Heaven POV
"Don't shoot." I heard my mother say and I was completely confused I felt like I was in slow motion because I could barely respond I just didn't want to loosen up and end up dead, one of the white men walked toward me still with that smirk on his face and I tensed up I wanted to shoot him, but I just couldn't for some reason
"What are you doing, shoot him." Keisha said as she looked at me and I still didn't, everyone was getting nervous, and he kept getting closer
"Come on dear, hand me the gun." He said as he talked gently and held his hands out slowly, I knew what was going to happen next but yet I still didn't shoot him
"Shit! hand me the gun." Keisha said as she snatched it from me and before I could grab it back, she shot off the white man's ear and I covered my mouth in shock she still seemed amazed by what she had done but she felt she had done something right and protected us and I respected her for it until I heard what my mother said
"Don't shoot him, that's your uncle Heaven, your father was a white man, I never told you that your father was white, I'm sorry." I heard as everyone turned around to look at my mom, we all were shocked, and she began to cry as the white man winced in pain and started to hold his ear as his men scrambled to find something to cover it or stop the bleeding
"I didn't even recognize you, Ms. Johnson, you were my brother's first and only love, I still don't know why he choose to fall in love with a black woman, but it's always trouble with you guys and now my niece, what's your name?" He asked as he snatched the gun from Keisha and looked me in my eyes and I was stunned, he was my uncle, it's so many things I don't know
"Everyone is a complete disgrace and now we're in a cage, you were more of a disgrace than Mina though, you had two kids meaning you made more than one mistake because Heaven has a white dad and Michael's dad is black, so you just chose to go on a rampage of killing innocent boys." Mina's mother said yelling at my mother, I was still in shock me and my mother never left each other's eyes, and she began crying and took being yelled at, I felt betrayed, she shamed me because someone shamed her, it just never stops does it
"You were the only one that went on a rampage mother, or do I have to let Angelic know what you did, hypocrite." Mina said as I watched as everyone argue, and her mother shut her mouth scoffing
"All she had to do was follow the rules."

Mina said as but was cut off by my uncle, I really wanted to hear what she had to say, her and her mother's feud has a long history and I want to know everything about it because as time drags on I've come to realize how horrible of a person Savannah is and I want to know why she hates her daughter so much cause all she does it nit and pick at her over the stupidest things that no one can fix and make perfect not even her
"Enough, everyone will be dead soon except for you." My uncle said cutting off Mina as he put his hand under my chin then kissed my forehead, I didn't care if he was my uncle, he was an unknown man, an outsider who obviously hates black people
