"Who is it?" Me and Nina said as we heard breathing
"It's Leo, Leonardo, Keisha, I know you live here now I just want to talk to you now since my mom isn't here to drag me away and tell me no." Leonardo said as I smiled I was glad he was here but also it was sad to hear him talk about Luna, yeah what she said to me was pretty fucked up but when you look at people as who have hurt them what they say to you means nothing but projection I'm not mad at her, her nor any mother on this island has had an easy going life, no one feels value unless they are with a man, everyone feels pushed to be something they aren't, and everyone deals with their pain alone, loneliness is this islands middle name and somehow we just manage to get caught in the rapture every time
"Hey." I said as I opened the door and Nina look at me as she crossed her arms
"What you here for? I don't hate you because of your momma but you should be home comforting her as much as I hate to say it." Nina said as she looked Leonardo up and down as he just continued to smile at her with his hands in his pockets
"I just want to talk to Keisha, is that alright?" He asked as he held his hand out for mine and Nina finally smiled
"Yeah, but bring her butt back, when Kianna got out of this fake ass prison, I don't want her yelling at me about her baby being missing." Nina said as I held onto Leonardo's hand as he chuckled at Nina being so stubborn and suspicious of him
"Okay, Ms. Nina." Leonardo said as I walked out of the house and Nina closed the door behind herself, I didn't want to leave her alone, but all her pain will be gone when I get back and show her something that will change her life
"I thought you went home with your mom." I said as we began to walk through the forest which was only a short amount of time until we reached the church and dance hall on the beach, it was midnight and the only thing that was shining was the waters in a greyish tint kind of color I watched as Leonardo was like ten steps ahead of me and he seemed to be in a cheery mood even though a fight had just occurred and his mom is the only person people don't like
"I didn't, I stayed out here-"
"To talk to me....... about what?" I asked as I crossed my arms
"To talk to you about letting your guard down because your mom is getting out of prison soon, I know it even though I don't have control over that to become friends with Angelic and Heaven and before-"
"No! No, it's not happening they are both traders and I can't even comprehend why you would want me to be friends with them still, you honestly should end your friendship with them as well." I said as I straight faced up as we listened to the waters crash onto the sand, Leonardo kept looking in the other direction where the woods were and then looked back with his eyebrows raised in confusion
