Savannah POV
Flashbacks
There was a women named Kianna who you all know as Keisha's mother and of course she seems like a normal woman who is a cool mom but really was crazy back in the day. Kianna had murdered her boyfriend way before he could even start the choking process, they loved each other, she was in the same classroom as all the mothers' Luna, Mina, Hanada, and Nina it was ironic that all of them had A's at the end of their names. The whole class was boy crazy, and I couldn't stand it, it made me sick to my stomach to know that I had failed them. Kianna was the third to get pregnant, her boyfriend's name was Dion, and he was definitely a player and wasn't taking anything the island said to him about mating seriously and flirted up a storm with millions of girls and lied to Kianna about her being the only one
He flirted with all the girls in the class when they would see each other in art class or dance hall or just regularly in the woods like you guys go to everyday we weren't anything different really Kianna pushed away all of her friends in school because she thought they wanted her man but they curved him for who they were dealing with and she became frustrated with feeling like she had to fight to keep Dion who she was madly in love with day to day her and Dion would talk about mating and she would ask why he wasn't scared and he always told her that he loved her and would die for her but didn't mean any of it he just wanted to know what mating felt like and she fell for it and they mated but it was actually a joke on him and another young man on this island, I don't know what it was that this young men thought they could overcome a curse but they're parents must have not enforced the ancient, love waters powers of death enough
He laid with Kianna for a while talking up a storm about how they were going to be together forever, marriage, kids and she ate it all up, see Kianna wasn't someone to play with at the time she was nowhere near sweet as she is now but she didn't play about Dion and he noticed that at the end of the tunnel that she loved him to the point of destruction but he waited until she was sleep to sneak out and meet with the only girl In the class who didn't get pregnant or have children at all because of getting beat up by Kianna so badly, her name was Maria, she was a curly headed, Italian, light skinned woman. Dion snuck out from under Kianna to see Maria, but Kianna woke up out in search for him finding him at the ancient, love waters making out with Maria, and she was devastated but she acted quickly and beat the brakes off Maria and grabbed the knife off Dion's back and sliced his throat and he fell back into the ocean. It was a crime of passion and after the moment she realized what a horrible thing she had done but she was determined not to get killed as punishment for it. Maria screams were so loud, and she tried to flee the scene, but Kianna threatened that if she told she'd kill her, and Maria never said a word up until her death.
The horn sounded early in the morning when they found Dion's body in the ocean with his throat slit, it was the most horrific sight of course I don't know how Kianna actually killed Dion I wasn't there but it was obvious and when everyone gathered together, she was the only one that looked guilty but they all ruled it as her being innocent because she gave an option that maybe the white men came and murdered him when no one suspected it and we all believed it Maria knew the truth and she didn't say a word next to her mother, she just cried her heart out and when the funeral was being held she cried all over his casket and Kianna couldn't stand the sight of it, she had to be the most heartless women ever to do someone like that, love is forbidden, drives you crazy, dopamine, cocaine, chocolate, it is sweet, you want it to last forever but if you can't live without it, it's a sign that it is no good
