3rd person POV:

The cavern rumbled as the Hell Gate shook. With the integrity of the cavern's structure at risk, Gerald prepared everyone to evacuate, as Mark got to the center in preparation for what was coming.

Lola and Patrisha ran to his side to back him up.

(CREEEEEEEEK)

The tips of something slid through the closed Hell Gate before prying them open violently.

Tree root-like tendrils then began swinging out of the Hell Gate trying to grab people.

Mark and Lola immediately got their blades out to start chopping the roots.

Patrisha: Tree roots... Charcoal Black, red hues... Must be a blood tree.

She rushes off somewhere with an idea of how to stop this.

Mark: Is my order complete?

Lola: No, not yet.

Mark: Can you have it ready by now?

Lola: I am not an alchemist! If you want it done right by me, then you must wait.

Mark: Hmph.

Rings on Mark's fingers and toes glow, before transforming into the Beowulf gauntlets and boots, to give Mark a boost in power.

Combining their power with the Yamato, Mark was able to stop any tendrils from getting past a certain line.

The tendrils then began to overwhelm Mark, by focusing on him, Lola went to aid him, only to be met with tendrils of her own to battle like the rest of the Zwise clan.

(Shatter)

A portion was thrown onto the tendrils fighting Mark, the contents of the potion caused the tendrils to turn white and fade to ash.

These demon roots began recoiling.

Patrisha: Ta-da! What do you think of me now, Mark?

Mark: What was that?

Patrisha: Basically demon pesticide.

Mark: Make more.

With this opening, he dashes through the Hell Gate, believing everyone else could take care of themselves.

(Opening theme)

Inside Hell, Mark, equipped with Beowulf and the Yamato, prepared to fight whatever demon awaited him.

He immediately found the demon whose roots were trying to drag nourishment into the realm.
