As the light blind them follow by a loud explosion noise they crouch down instinctively.

But after it was over and the light die down everyone's eyes naturally went to the end of the holy looking silver shield.

There they saw the only one who was standing up while his hands were raised and were connected to the shield.

The one who they deemed as trash, the eldest son of the Henituse county and the supposed instructor of the crown prince, Cale Henituse.

At the beginning of the banquet it was weird that he didn't start throwing a tantrum like he always does.

What's weirder is that he didn't even drink a single drop of alcohol since he got here.

And when those people showed up he was one of the people who were calm and the one who whisper something into the crown prince ears.

The crown prince started ordering people to take care of the matter after that so they assume they had a conversation about how to handle the situation.

And as the bombs goes off he was the one who created a silver shield to protect them.

As the smoke die down they could see the inside of the shield. They had to suppress a shudder as they saw the inside of the shield is completely empty.

No remains could be seen. They all felt cold thinking how it would've been if the bombs were to go off without the shield.

Their eyes still haven't left Cale. He save them. He was the one who protected them.

Meanwhile Cale was looking at his hands. They were burnt due to the attack.

He could feel the Crybaby started working to heal him. He frown while he started thinking the opposite.

'It'll be a big mess to clean up if anyone were to die. Not to mention I have to have a talk with that bastard so I can't have too much wo-'

His thoughts were interrupt when he felt the need to couch so he cover his mouth and cough.

Red drip down from his hands as he did. Just as usual he cough out blood. Cale could feel himself getting much better.

-Human you can't dieeeee!

Due to the impact of the invisible little dragon Cale stumble on his feet. But Alberu caught him before he could fall.

"Cale!" He sat Cale down. On the platform. The whole plaza went quiet as they saw how Cale couch up blood and also fall.

To sacrifice himself to the extent of coughing blood just to save them. What a hero!

While Cale started frowning. He patted Raon and look at Alberu and sigh. "Your highness I'm fin-"

"If you finish that sentence I am going to have a talk with my father to put you on house arrest on the name of helping you recover."

Cale immediately shut up as he saw the look of seriousness on Alberu's face.

"Hyung-nim!" He could hear the worried shout of Basen. He look past Alberu to see Basen running toward them.

"B... blo...blood!" Eric said in a horrid voice. "I'll go get a priest!" Amiru immediately left with Gilbert.

Basen crouch down beside his brother. He was about to check on him when Cale stopped him.

Basen tear up. 'Why is brother trying to look strong when he's hurt like this. He didn't have to pretend to be strong because he didn't want to worry me.'

While Cale was doing that to prevent Basen from reaching out to the little dragon that was crying on his lap.

'Raon you are going to get discovered.'

Raon was getting frustrated at his human who was worrying about him when his condition looked worst.

Alberu who heard their little mind conversation just smile brightly at Cale.

"My dear instructor you should focus on resting right now." Cale didn't meet his vicious eyes and turn away.

Cale meet eyes with Zed. He looked worried. He nodded at him, gesturing him to take care of business first.

Cale patted Raon head, gesturing him he need to go when he saw Amiru dragging a priest over. Raon grumble but comply.

-scammy prince I told you to take care of my weak human. I am telling lemonade gramps.

Raon said that at last and went away. Alberu face pale as he heard that. The vicious smile or Ron pop up in his head.

Even though he was still keeping his smile, he was crying mentally. He look over at Cale.

Cale was also pale like him. He was pale from the beginning but he did gotten paler.

The priest who was healing him notice him getting paler so he asked Cale.

"Young master are you hurt anywhere else?" Cale decided to think about that later.

"No I didn't." The priest nodded but he couldn't help but keep glancing at his face.

Seemingly looking for answers. Cale who notice just smile softly. "It must be your first time seeing an ancient power."

The priest eyes went widen in realization. "So it was an ancient power." He said in astonishment as Cale nodded.

Cale think he should clear up the misunderstanding before they lable him as someone who has connections with the gods.

Meanwhile the priest was astonished about his willingness to use a precious power to save them.

Alberu know somehow Cale make misunderstanding but he isn't going to tell him that.

He lable it as revenge for him facing Ron and possibly Deruth Henituse seeing the way Basen was glaring at him.
