chapter-27-Violan and Deruth.

Cale gesture Basen to continue. Basen scratch his cheeks as if he was embarrassed.

"I was on my way to have tea with Lily. Would you like to join?" Cale tilted his head. Soon the 3 siblings were in the garden with tea and snack on the table.

The atmosphere was awkward between the 3 siblings. Cale just got here because Basen and drag him.

Basen just drag Cale because he wanted to spend more time with Cale. He didn't actually know what to do.

While Lily wasn't expecting Cale to be here at all. She didn't even know that he was back. Lily was looking anywhere but brother.

And both Cale and Basen notice it. Basen knows Lily was afraid of Cale's reaction if she made a mistake but Cale thought that Lily was afraid of his trash image.

'Well it is to be expected. She's still a young child. Who wouldn't be afraid of a trash who throw bottles whenever he find something unpleasant, but, I wouldn't throw a bottle at a child, especially not my little sister.'

The servant around them are also nervous, expecting flying teacups are a flipped table.

When Cale take a cookie they all unconsciously held a breath. But contrary to their expections, there was no flying teacup or flipped tables.

Cale just quietly took a bite of the cookie and said nothing.Basen wanted to get closer to kill. He wanted all 3 of them to get along.

And since Lily wasn't gonna do it, he will. Basen took a mental breath as he decided to take the risk.

"Hyung-nim." Cale shift his attention from the cookie to Basen. "Lily is training to be a knight." The whole garden becomes silent at that.

Lily become wide eyed as she looked at Basen but Basen give her a reassuring nod.

So she bite her lips, as she turned on eyes to Cale. Everyone was looking in his direction, wanting to know his reaction.

But Cale didn't say anything and just keep nibbling on the cookie. If it wasn't for the atmosphere, it would have been a cute scene.

Only after Cale finished his cookie, he talked. "I've already know?" "Huh?" Lily unconsciously let out a confused sound.

Everyone was confused too. Was Cale even paying attention to what Basen said.

But Cale continued. "Training with the knights 9:00 to 10:00 in the morning, sword training along the training field from 3:00 to 4:00 in the evening, books on knightage, injuries on body and dirty clothes as if you has roll in the mountains."

Lily flinch at every word Cale utter. He knew from the beginning. Everyone tries so hard to hide it from Cale at her request.

Even father and mother. But now it's over. Lily prepare herself for the scolding she will receive from Cale but instead of just a scold, a warm voice came.

"I've seen you train and you have potential Lily.c Lily eyes turned wide open as she stare at Cale.

Well since his covered as a trash was blown, after being confronted as the crown prince’s instructor, might as well say what he wanted to say since before and do what he wanted to do a long time ago.

"And for that, I wanted to hand something to you." Cale said as he snapped his fingers.

Ron came forward and handed Cale his spacial bag. Cale looked down into the bag and found the thing he was looking for.

As Cale pull it out, everyone was momentarily blind. It was a sword. Gold at the handle and embedded with ruby.

The Henituse crust was shining under the sun. The blade was thin and sharp. (I suck at description just count on your imagination)

Overall, it seems to be a very expensive and well craft sword. "That's-" "Here."

Cale said as he handed the sword to Lily. "It was mine at some point but I think it's time I handed it down to you."

But instead of taking the sword, Lily shining eyes trun to Cale. "Orabuni, you used to do swordsmanship."

Cale nodded. "A little but I don't do it anymore." A bomb. This was a fucking bomb dropped.

All rhe servants present are the new recruits after the Countess death, well except Ron of course.

"The young master used to take swordmanship classes from the age of 5 to 8." Cale shot a warning look to which Ron reply with a benign smile.

"Why didn't we know of it? Only the old servants know about it." Cale reply.

"Orabuni can you show me a trick or 2?" "Maybe later." Cale smile softly. Everyone was shocked.

They have never seen Cale smile like that before. "Later what?" Until they were interrupted by another.

"Father. Mother." Basen and Lily stand up to greet Deruth and Voilan. Cale look at the 2 approaching figure before nodding at them in acknowledgment.

"No need to be so formal. Look at your older brother." Deruth said as everyone turn to Cale.

After nodding, Cale turn back to drinking tea. It's a sweet tea, away from Ron's lemon tea and Cale plan to enjoy every last drop of it.

Basen and Lily smile as they sat back down. Two more chairs were brought for the 2 adult and soon the family was all seated and was enjoying tea.

But unlike before Cale was quiet. And the atmosphere was awkward.

When Cale was talked he only reply with 'hmm' 'yes' 'no'. Deruth finally hive up talking to Cale.

So he got to the point. "Cale? You wanted to see me?" Cale finally turn his attention from the tea and look at Deruth.

He put down his teacup. "I just wanted to inform you about the trip. I'll be leaving for the Wipper kingdom tomorrow."

Lily drop her tea cup at that moment. "Lily." Voilan warned Lily. But Lily couldn't reply to her mother right away.

Lily was too stunned. "My teacher said that the Whipper kingdom is having a war at the moment.

He said that millions of people are dying every day. Why are you going to such a dangerous place, Orabuni. You can't go!"

"Cale is this his majesty's order." Cale think for a moment. 'Well he dumped me the hero, so I'll dump him to father.'

Cale nodded. "I need to go." "Cale, you know you can refuse right?" Cale nodded at Violan.

"Yes mother, but I need to go there to make sure the peace of the Roan kingdom remains."

Violent sigh. "Cale, we don't care about this kingdom at all." "Wife, we need this kingdom to be safe for our family to be safe remember?"

"Shut up Dreuth." "Yes." Deruth become quite at Violan's order. "Cale, we are Henituse. We don't care about anything at all apart from our people.

The whole world can burn down for all I care but if anyone touches our family and people we wouldn't hesitate to chop their heads.

Right now what I'm saying is that, for us nothing but you matter. You know our family's motto right."

Cale nodded. "Mother as you've said, I am a golden turtle." "If you know then it's fine."

Cale nodded as he picked up his tea cup. But everyone can see the small smile on his lips.

But what people didn't see was the look exchange between Voilan and Deruth.
