The same process returned after he was taken out of the room for an 'interrogation'. Though the process was probably, a lot more painful. Obito thought it was just headaches but then he started getting nosebleeds. Then he started to lose what little appetite he had left. "Am I dying?" The mist was affecting him more than it was before. The mist constantly lingered in the air of his cell. There was no escaping it.
Obito coughed, he had breathed wrong. The floor was always encased in the mystery mist and so was he. The pores of his skin taking it all in. Obito rested his head on his head. He starting thinking again. Not much he could do anyway.
As he usually was he was thinking back to his team days. The missions they would go on and such. But something stood out to him. "Who is this blonde that we keep seeing?" He must have knew him, he seems to be on a lot of missions that they went on. He had this cool technique where he would throw a Kunai and teleport to it.
There was also a white haired boy and a girl. The girl for some reason made him feel giddy. "What's so special about her?" Obito shrugged. His old team must have been different, he was just put out on a team with the blonde guy as the leader. Probably for a small amount of time.
Obito sighed. "What is there to do around here?" Obito could actually see small cracks in the wall, but everything else was just as dark as it was before. Out of boredom he started to pick at his skin. He could feel a hot liquid rise from his arm everytime he'd do so, but it didn't really bother him.
"Better than sitting and doing nothing." He sat like that picking at his arm for maybe an hour? (Minutes?)
Then the lock on the door started to twist. Obito looked up at the now open door. "follow me." He didn't recognize this guy. "I'll have to make a nickname for him later." Obito stood up and did as he was told. Though this time was different.
Some other kids were coming as well. They looked about the same he did. Dried blood all over their noses and mouths. Some of them even had blood on their ears.
They all followed this one guy to a wide empty room. It was like a training ground, just inside. "Why would they need us to train?"
The man was on the heavier side, so Obito decided to call him snout. Not to his face of course, that would ruin the nickname.
"If it wasn't obvious, your going to be training here. Others will join you, help you." The man shrugged. He obviously didn't think this was important.
A kid raised his hand. The man looked in the kids direction and snorted. "What is it? Do I look like some school teacher to you?" The kid shook his head but spoke. "Train for what?" The man hummed in response.
"To become cool flashy ninja." Obito's eyes furrowed. The man said it like being a ninja was going to be cool. Though the other kids bought the lie. "Ninja?" A kid questioned. The man smiled. "Of course. We will bring out weapons soon."
Snout left the room and left the kids to murmur to themselves. It was mostly about how they didn't know how to train. Others talking about ninja and Shinobi.
This must be a group of kids who got talking permission. There was a frail girl who had outgrown red hair. "It's almost like... What was the women's name again?"
The girl finally spoke up, "I hope I can be a support ninja." It was the voice of the girl who told him about the mist and the seals.
Some of the others scoffed but some others nodded. "Everyone has their own preferences." A women sounded behind them.
It was another women her hair was a buzz cut. Though it was obvious that it was soon to grow back.
She set down the boxes she was carrying and opened them. One was filled with ninja tools, the other was filled with what Obito guessed was uniforms.
She ordered them to change and they did. They had no privacy but it seems none of them were bothered. All of them including Obito cared that they finally were getting out of the clothes they were stuck with.
The frail girl looked at Obito as he was putting on his shirt. They all seemed to look at him. But they quickly averted their eyes back to the women, she had began talking again.
"I'm afraid none of us are free to train you guys out selves. So you will have to just familiarize your selves with the weapons." The kids nodded and the women left.
Considering the mist Obito thought the kids would have been emotionless or something but they all had their own ways to express their emotions, normal or not.
One of the kids began bragging about the ninja life and how he'd be the strongest.
"How are we supposed to train when we can't use chakra." Everyone stared at Obito. "Chakra?" Obito was quiet. "You don't know what chakra is?" Some of the kids shook their head. The kid that was bragging before looked at Obito. "What would we use chakra for anyway?" Obito shrugged. "To strengthen your throw, use jutsu's, walk on walls or water." "I want to learn jutsu's." The kid behind him said. "Maybe we can ask. There is a guy over there watching us anyway." Obito pointed to a tinted window. The other kids nodded.
Someone already ran up to the window. A man walked out. There was conversation. The man rubbed his chin. He walked out of the room and returned some time later with the smiling man.
The smiling man and the child walked up to us. "you already want to use chakra?" The man seemed thrilled by the idea. Some of the kids nodded. "Alright... It won't not be painful to change the seals." It was a process of going to one kid to another. The kids covered their mouths as they were told so they couldn't scream. Obito did the same.
