After the whole ordeal they figured out that Obito was Obito he was taken to the hospital. Minato was angry, he could feel it but no one seemed to acknowledge it so he didn't either.

It was test after test. To understand what had happened to him. How he had survived the boulder. Questions he should have been able to answer but couldn't. That was another test, memory.

They had things he would have known, would have recognized but he doesn't.

"Half of your body is fake right?" Kushina said while checking Obito's arm. Obito nodded. Kushina frowned. "You said it just grew back right?" Obito nodded. "That is what I assume anyway." Kushina slowly nodded.

"Can you somehow prove it to me?" Kushina said with a sigh. "It's not that I don't believe you, but something like that doesn't just happen." Obito nodded. He could understand her doubts. The idea of regrowing limbs is quite.... Farfetched.

Obito leaned toward's a scalpel and grabbed it. "What are you going to do with that?" Kushina asked crossing her arms. Obito understood her concern. "If I can show you, I have to cut a chuck of my hand off." Kushina looked horrified at the idea. "What! No!" She went to grab the scalpel. Obito stopped her. "I don't feel it. It is fine." Kushina hesitated for a moment. Before giving in.

She looked eerily at Obito while he sliced a part of his thumb off. No blood came out of his hand. "So it really is prosthetic" Kushina said in awe. Obito nodded. "Since I didn't cut that much off, it should grow back in an hour." Kushina was silent.

"You time these things?" Kushina said with a dark glare. "No. I just often get stabbed." Kushina wasn't at all comforted by that statement but decided to not question it.

Obito looked at his hand, even if it won't be fully healed in an hour, you can still witness it's process.

Kushina left a couple minutes later she said she needed to talk with Minato.

Obito sat silently. he just stared at imaginary nerves moving around and reconnecting his disfigured tissue that was cut off.

"Minato wanted to talk with you." Kushina said while entering. Minato walked behind her with a smile. It was hard to tell if it was fake or not. A nice change than what it was.

Obito held up his hand. And Kushina looked awe struck. It was yet to be fully healed, she has only been gone for 30 minuets after all.

Minato was slightly confused why a part of Obito's hand was missing.

Kushina grabbed Obito's arm to look at his hand. "It really is growing back." Minato walked closer and looked as well. Just in time for him to see a small part of bone returning to it's usual form.

Minato looked as surprised as Kushina.

"Told you. Literally growing back." Minato frowned. "It's not that we ever disbelieved you." Obito shrugged.

"Well I think I know why your hand is growing back so fast." Minato said with his eyebrows furrowed. Obito nodded. They had taken some of the 'blood' that resided in his pale arm.

"It's Hashirama cells." Minato said with a dry voice. Kushina frowned. She had clearly already been told but she still didn't like the idea.

"But I have never seen Hashirama cells do something like this. Yamato only has Hashirama's wood style. He doesn't have literal regeneration." Minato said with his arms crossed. He was deep in thought.

"Orochimaru didn't do anything right?" Minato asked putting his full attention on Obito.

"No. He only gave me this eye in return for some minimal service." Obito said with a sigh.

"Minimal service?" Minato asked. Obito shook his head. "I am afraid I can not tell you of it. It was a deal to get this eye. I am no longer associated with Orochimaru anymore, if that makes you feel better." Minato frowned.

"Hardly." Minato said with a sigh. But he shook his head. "Orochimaru is a topic for another time." Kushina nodded her head in agreement.

"So while you were taken, before you landed in the organization, you had Hashirama cells implanted into you." Obito shrugged. "Sound's right." Minato nodded.

It was almost like ritual at this point. Random times being impacted into his head. To remind him of what happened so long ago. It feels like a crack in his neck. When he remembers something so minimal yet so important.

"I was in a cave nearby where I had been crushed that is where I was held." Kushina stared at Obito in disbelief. Minato studied Obito. "Do you know where?" Minato asked.

Instead of asking about the memory he utilized it. That is something he has to appreciate about the Hokage.

"I believe so, but don't rely on it." Minato nodded. "We will not go now, there are other things to deal with at the moment." Obito nodded in agreement.

By 'other things' he meant finding about the Organization a spy that might be collecting information on the leaf.

Minato took another glance at Obito's hand. "Even if you do have Hashirama cells, you seem to be able to use wood style and you have his medical Ninjustu, but it seems like it's dorment only activating on its own and not on command."

Obito nodded. It was one thing after another. Would it be considered good luck when he found his identity or bad luck because he doesn't know anything about himself or anyone.

Minato frowned at the obvious click of the door. Obito almost physically gagged at the sight of the one eyed man.

Danzo. He looks like he is about to deliver good news, but knowing Danzo. It's only good news to himself and not anyone else.

Obito knew a lot about Danzo. Probably a lot more than anyone in this village. He acquired certain information when he was working with Orochimaru. Orochimaru was bragging about it. And by it, he means the implantation of the Hashirama cells.

Obito considers himself lucky on that part. He doesn't have an entire face growing out of his chest.
