Chapter 46- Secondary characters

Minato frowned slightly at the sight of Danzo but kept his composure. Kushina kept her composure, but she certainly did not hide the fact that she did not like Danzo to any extent.

It was definitely comforting that Danzo was particularly liked by anyone here. Unless they were his followers. His followers are brainwashed much like himself, even carrying a similar curse mark on their tongue's.

Is Minato aware of this? He doesn't seem like the type of guy to let something like that slide. Especially when he is so against the organization that held him for so long.

Danzo's smug face faltered when he saw Obito. Obito didn't know what crossed his face when he did. It might have been, panic, recognition, or even perhaps familiarity. The emotion went too fast for Obito to study.

"Please speak Danzo, we don't have all day." Minato's voice sounded tight. Obvious of Minato's thinning patience.

Danzo nodded. "There is a meeting with the Uchiha elders." Minato face turned dark but he didn't express his feelings. "Sure." Minato's response was short.

Danzo nodded. "I will see you then." His smile was smug but something about his eye expressed panic.

Obito couldn't describe it. With all that he knows about Danzo the amount of missions he had before that required him to learn about Danzo. Does he know? Does Danzo know of Obito's knowledge.

Minato's face was tired when Danzo left. "Do you recall Danzo?" Minato's voice sounded exhausted. He clearly wasn't excited for the meeting.

"Not from when I was a child, but I do know him." Minato nodded. "I see." Minato turned his head to stare where Danzo once stood.

"You are also attending the meeting. The meeting is about you after all." Minato said while crossing his arms. Kushina frowned. "Isn't it too early for that?"

Minato looked at his wife. "I believe it is. But the Mangekyou is a big deal, the elders are quite worried about it." Obito nodded.

"The Mangekyou is a particularly strong form of the Sharingan. I wouldn't be surprised if Kakashi  has it." Apparently the thought didn't even cross Kushina's or Minato's mind.

Minato didn't respond but his eyes narrowed. It didn't show any emotion but Obito knows he cares about his students.

Minato looked away from Obito. "Let's go. It's being held on the Uchiha compound." Obito nodded and stood up.

Kushina's eyes widened "What about your hand." Minato took notice of Obito's hand. But... Nothing was wrong with it. It was fully healed.

"When I was taking Naruto back home a Kunai stuck through my cheek." Kushina looked worried.

"There isn't even a scar." Kushina said silently.

She didn't seem happy that Obito had this miracle healing she seemed devastated. Probably because of why he the increased healing.

Obito doesn't know how or when he got the Hashirama cells. But the fact that he them indicates that his body was tampered with after he was taken from the boulder.

Minato smiled encouragingly at his wife. "It will be okay, you don't need to worry." Kushina smiled at the reassurance and nodded.

"Don't let them talk down to you Obito." Obito smiled as well. Then he was gone. Minato did in fact not warn him.

One second he was in the hospital the next he is in the Uchiha compound.

Now he has a migraine. Perfect material for a meeting.

Minato saw the Obito stumble slightly and laughed. "Oh I thought you could have handled it." Obito frowned. "What makes you think that?"

Minato smiled slightly. "I hear that your just as fast as I am." Obito frowned. "I just focus chakra in my legs and bounce off trees." Minato was surprised that there really wasn't much to Obito's speed.

"Really?" Obito nodded. "I use my Mangekyou to go through tree's and I make my legs tangible to bounce off another tree."

Minato was silent. "Go through?" Obito was also silent. "Did I not tell you?" Minato shook his head with a questioning gaze.

Obito activated his Mangekyou and walked through Minato. It was an unexpected way to explain but it gets the job done.

Minato looked surprised and stunned. Obito deactivated his Sharingan and turned to his old sensei. "The Mangekyou allows you to do such things?" Obito shrugged.

Minato sighed. "Let's hurry." Obito nodded. They had been dawdling for a while at the entrance of the Uchiha compound. While they walked to wherever the Meeting was being held they got stares. Mostly at the Hokage. I mean, he is the Hokage.

It makes you wonder if you're own clan is in trouble or if the Hokage is going on a friendly stroll.

When they arrived there were Anbu at the door and no doubt the elders were in there as well. Not to mentioned Danzo.

The building was almost entirely windowless and the walls were thick.

Minato didn't say anything but he walked in and Obito followed after him.

When they entered the room the meeting was held the quiet room somehow got even quieter.

Danzo had no readable expression. He was no longer smug. The Minato nodded and the meeting began.

It started with ramblings of the rules of the meeting. What remains confidential and what can be said outside the meeting walls. And the basic standard rules that are kept at every public place. Things like, no fighting. Do not use your chakra in any way. Do no bring personal feelings.

Actually... A lot of these rules seem like they are only being said now. Because Minato had a scowl on his face.

Danzo sighed. "Let's begin." He nodded towards what Obito assumed to be the elders.

The elders of the Uchiha clan more specifically. They stared hard at Obito.

"You have the Mangekyou Sharingan and from what we have been hearing, prefect control of it. We want to know to the powers that you have gained."

It makes Obito wonder. The dark room they reside in, it makes him space off. It reminds him of back then.

Are the elders just curious? Or power hungry. You never know.
