Kababalik ko lang sa mansion ngayon dahil ngayon ang araw ng kaarawan ko but they move the schedule of the party dahil ngayon pa lang ako sinusukatan ng susuotin kong gown.

"Happy birthday, Ma'am! You're finally at legal age." nginitian ko ang nagsusukat sa akin ng gown.

"Thank you, Ate Liz. I told you not to call me Ma'am, right? It's too formal and it's embarrassing me." sambit ko sa kanya.

Inabot niya sa akin ang ilang designs ng gown na siya mismo ang gumawa. "Last week pa wala sa mood si Madam dahil antagal mo raw umuwi ng mansion..." napabaling ako kay Ate Liz.

My mom keep on bugging me na umuwi dito but I don't want to kaya pinapatayan ko siya ng phone. I wasn't planning to celebrate my 18th birthday with them since it's the first time in my life that they insist to be with me.

I'm not in good terms with my family since when I was a child because I am a failure. I failed as their daughter dahil hindi ako kasing talino, at galing ng panganay nilang anak. Ako ang bunsong anak nila pero ako ang nanglilimos ng atensyon at pagmamahal nila. Until now, I want to prove myself to them. I want them to acknowledge me. I want them to realize that I'm better than my sister.

But as I said I don't plan on celebrating any special occasions with them dahil para rin naman akong hangin sa harap nila. I don't have any choice this timewhen my mom is the one who dragged me out of Jacob's condo.

Bumukas ang pinto ng kwarto kaya sabay kaming napalingon doon at bumungad sa akin ang dalawang pamilyar na babae. It's my mom and my sister.

"How's the preparation on your sister's birthday party?" I heard my mom asked my sister without looking at me.

"You don't have to worry, Mommy. I already organized it all." mahinahong sambit naman ng kapatid ko. Napairap na lamang ako dahil hindi ko alam kung ano ang pinaparating nila at dito pa sila nag-uusap sa harap ko.

My mom walk at the corner where the sofa is place. "Liz, come here for a bit. I want to discuss with you about the materials and fabric that you are going to use for my daughter's gown."

Naupo muna ako sa kabilang dulo upang mag tumingin uli ng designs ng gown. I saw at the side of the corner of my eye when my sister sat beside me.

"Welcome home, Calista! I miss you so much!" aniya sa malambing na boses sabay yakap pa sa'kin.

"Congratulations, there will be an important announcement. Well, I don't know about it too but I wish you a good luck." bumulong siya sa akin kasabay ng pagbalik ng kanyang maldita niyang boses. It's her true identity. She's innocent infront of my parents but she's demon inside.

"I don't know that you have that kind of affection for me, Ate. You are too kind and it's a pleasure of mine for you to be so concern for your younger sister." sabi ko rin sa mababang tono dahil ako na naman ang magmumukhang masama kapag inaway ko siya sa harap ni mommy.

Humiwalay siya sa akin ay hinawakan ang magkabila kong braso. "Happy birthday!" she smiled and give her present.

Kinuha ko lang ang maliit na box na paniguradong naglalaman ng jewelry. Sinuklian ko na lamang siya ng ngiti. I don't want to thank her dahil di niya deserve. Ang plastic.

Tumayo ako at dumiretso sa kabilang dulo upang magpaalam na para umuwi dahil ang tumatagal ay hindi ako nagiging komportable.

"Pwede ba mauna na ako, Mommy? I will just comeback here if you need something from me." tumango si Mommy nang hindi ako binabalingan at patuloy na nakikipag-usap kay ate Liz. Kumaway lamang ako kay ate Liz at saka dumiretso palabas ng kwarto.

Nang makarating ako sa main gate ay napahinto ako nang makasalubong ko si Daddy. "D-dad! Welcome ho-"

"Don't disappoint us this time, Calista." He said with a serious tone and immediately walk away kasama ang kanyang body guards.
