Chapter 12 - Dreams

Great, just great. Ares offers Percy the same deal but instead of a date he offered a ride west. That is something they need, of course they took it! Why wouldn't they? They were also probably afraid of the guy, honestly I think Ares is a big idiot so I wasn't that scared of him. I should have been.

"So, why are we following your brother again?" Travis asked.

"Because my dad asked me to." I yawned, I am falling asleep because the last time I slept was when I was looking for the Stolls.

"Cool, why did he send you though? I mean, I get that he wants to keep your brother safe but, wouldn't he be risking your life to do that?" Travis asked.

"I... I don't know... why." I said, my eyelids getting heavy.

Travis must have known I was about to fall asleep because he stopped asking questions. Soon, I was leaning forward on his back oblivious to the fact that we were on a flying horse because I was lost in my dreams.

I opened my eyes to find I was back at Camp Half-blood. I was standing next to the tree where I had fought the minotaur and there was a girl standing there next to me.

"Hello?" I asked her.

She whipped around. I could see her better now. She had choppy black hair and electric blue eyes, "Who are you?" she asked.

"Who are you?" I challenged, sticking out my dagger.

"Hmmf. Guess I can respect that, I'm Thalia."

"Peyton, Thalia, that name sounds familiar." I racked my brain.

"I think I have seen you before... were you the one that killed the minotaur?" asked Thalia.

"Wait, your Thalia, the girl that was turned into the tree?" I asked.

"Um, I guess. My consciousness is clearly still alive though if we are talking." Thalia snorted.

"Yeah, I guess. So, you are a daughter of Uncle Z," I said, warry if I would catch attention in a dream.

"Uncle Z?" Thalia questioned standing up straighter.

"Oh, sorry I didn't introduce myself properly. Hi, Peyton Jackson, daughter of Poseidon." I stuck my hand out for her to shake.

"Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus." She shook my hand and smiled.

"Well Pinehead-"

"Don't call me that!"

"I am glad I met you. I am sad that I can't actually talk to you. I hope this is real and not my imagination." I told her.

"Yeah, you seem ok. One question, how are Annabeth and Luke?" Thalia asked.

"Annabeth is on a quest with my brother and Luke is head counselor to the Hermes cabin, why?" I asked.

"I came to camp with them. A whole bunch of monsters were chasing us and I chose to hold them off while Annabeth, Luke, and Grover ran to camp." Thalia said

"Wait, GROVER?" I asked, my eyes bugging out of my head.

"Yeah, you know him?" Thalia asked.

"He is the one that found me and my brother." I said.

Thalia smiled, "I love that goat. Best keeper ever. Wait, did you say brother?"

"Yeah, I have a twin named Percy."

"Nice, well since you called me Pinehead I dub you Kelpie."

"Did you just say that?" I asked. Then I heard a faint sound as if from far away, "I am waking up, I will try to come back here! Bye Pinehead!"

"See you soon Kelpie."

And with that I woke up.
