"I say drinks" Morgan sighed and slew of agreements followed.

   "Y/n, you in?" Morgan asked.

"Um, " I hesitated. "what the hell, why not."

"That's my girl" Tara gave me a high five.

"Let's all meet at Soddy's at 8?" Rossi suggested.

"I'll see you all there" I smiled as I walked away.

This wasn't uncommon for the team to get together for drinks after a hard case. But recently it has become more and more difficult since Emily started seeing Heather. I guess, I didn't realize how much I like Emily until I saw her with someone else. I assumed it was a crush and that it would fade with time, but two years and I'm still down bad...for a woman who couldn't care less about me.

I went home and freshened up. I wore a pair of black jeans that hugged every curve perfectly and paired it with a deep red tank top that looked kind of like a blouse without sleeves and no collar. It was a v-neck that really showed off my cleavage but I didn't care. Around quarter to seven I slipped on my black heels and called an uber. I had to take a couple shots of liquid courage before I left so I was in no position to drive.

"Zoo-wee-Mama" Morgan chanted as I walked up to the table. "Baby, you look fine as hell"

"Thank you Morgan, you're looking pretty damn good yourself" I winked.

    "Drinks?" Garcia asked.

"Hell yes, Jameson, actually, I'll take two" I said.

"Ooo same here!" JJ and Tara added.

"Oh my ladies are planning on drinkin tonight" Morgan laughed.

The rest of us let out a chuckle.

"I'll have an old fashioned" Hotch said.

   "Me too" Rossi said.

"Well, ok, I might need some help, Y/n?" Garcia asked.

"Of course" I followed Garcia to the bar as she ordered.

"So" she looked at me like she knew something I didn't.

   "So..." I repeated.

"How are things between you and Emily?"

"what do you mean?" I asked, quickly looking away.

"Ok come on, I see the way you look at her and your facebook search history is just Emily Prentiss"

   "Garcia!" I scolded.

"I'm sorry but I think you two need to get over this game" she whined.

"She's with Heather" I said plainly.

"Heather? Yeah. No, 'Heather' is a place holder. Don't give up on her ok?"

I didn't say anything. I didn't know what to say. The bartender handed me two Jameson and I downed one of them right there.

"One more please" my voice was stiff after I finished the glass.

"Hey" I heard Morgan call out which caused me to turn.

The dark haired goddess that is Emily Prentiss walked in. My breath hitched in my throat.

"Garcia I don't think I can do this" I mumbled before downing my second Jameson.

"Just give it a little time" Penelope stressed. "She knows she likes you too, she's just too scared to admit that she actually has real  feelings for you."

"One more" I asked the bartender and she gave me a knowing look. It was the 'I know exactly how you feel' look.

"Fuck it" I huffed as I walked over with my two Jamesons and the two old fashions.

"Here you" I set the glasses in front of Hotch and Rossi. I did my best not to acknowledge Emily. I was now five shots in and I couldn't walk a straight line if my life depended on it.

"Morgan, dance with me!" I said before I took another Jameson and downed it.

"You got it baby" He laughed as he followed me on to the floor.

Rake it Up started playing and I was doing everything in my power to forget. It was different at work, we had a job to do, it was easier. But here, all I could think about was her.

The music occupied my mind until I heard someone say,

   "hey, heather!"

I stopped. Immediately my eyes darted to the table and sure enough. There she was.

"Hey, I'm gonna get another,"  I slurred.

"Rough night?" the bartender asked as she poured another Jameson without me even having to ask.

   "Understatement" I sighed.

"Dark haired woman" she nodded towards Emily.

"How'd you know?" I asked in shock.

"Well, I guess I'm outing myself here, but every time I've looked at you, you've been looking at her." she chuckled.

"You've been looking at me?" I smirked.

"It's kinda hard not to." she looked down at the rag she was using to wipe the counter.

   "I'm flattered, truly" I said.

"You're hearts with her. I get it,"

I nodded.

   "I wish it wasn't" I slurred again.

"Well, if you ever find yourself looking elsewhere, keep me in mind" she grinned before walking to the other side of the counter.

I stumbled back over to the table,

"I think I should probably get goin" I sighed.

"Do you have a ride?" Emily asked.

"what do you care?" I looked down at my drink.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" Emily grabbed my arm and drug me into the bathroom.

   "Alright, what?" she snapped.

"what'd you mean what?" I scoffed.

"Three weeks now, you've been cold and standoffish."

   "So what?"

"So what happened?" she threw her hands in the air.

"I don't know Emily, what happened three weeks ago?" I asked slightly condescending. Three weeks ago was when she started dating Heather.

   "Nothing!" she barked.

"Ok, well you sleep on it and once you've figured it out let me know" I went to leave when she stepped in front of the door.

"Does it have something to do with Heather?"

My body felt paralyzed. I don't know why I didn't expect her to figure it out.

   "Y/n," her voice softened.

"I've gotta go, my Uber's here" I quickly shoved past her and bolted for the door.

My heart raced and the cold air outside sobered me up a bit. I got into the Uber and in ten minutes I was stumbling into my apartment.

"Why did I drink so much" I groaned to myself.

As I was taking off my top, my phone rang.

It was Emily.....
