Lie to Me

   "Alex.." I paused as I glanced down before meeting her eyes again. "you did. you said my name."

   "How would you feel if I didn't say your name.." she asked weary.

I placed my hand on her thigh
 
    "Honestly...I'd be disappointed"

I watched her muscles relax and an endearing
smirk spread across her face.

   "Didn't exactly picture this scenario when I thought about telling you how I feel" she chuckled. "You just had to be so damn nosey"

I laughed.

   "Yeah..."

    "But, Y/n, I know you just got out of a relationship-"

   "It wasn't a relationship but a two week fling" I corrected.

And that's when I realized I hadn't really thought about Emily since we got into the room. It was actually kinda nice.

   "Ok, a fling," she smiled "but I don't want a 'fling' so I don't think we should make any hasty decisions"

   "I agree" a wide smirk began to spread across my face.

We sat there both blushing.

   "However, I would really like to ki-" before she finished I pulled her into me. She brought her hands to my face, intensifying the kiss. She smelled of a light lavender and her hands were gentle and her lips were soft.

Once we pulled apart, the smile on her face made my heart flutter.

   "You have no idea how badly I've wanted to do that" Alex whispered.

She started to stand but I held her back,

   "Where are you going?"

     "I was thinking to bed.." she chuckled.

   "Right" I nodded

Alex shut the light off and we both laid in our respective beds.

   "Um Alex?" I called out into the darkness.

   "You cold?" She replied.

   "Yup"

   "Yeah me too"
She jumped out of her bed and crawled in mine.

She inches closer to me and I finally reach behind me and take her arm, draping it over my waist.

   "Is this ok?" I whispered.

   "More than ok" she kissed my neck.

I felt safe. I wasn't worried that I would wake up and to find that Alex changed her mine like I was with Emily.

I don't know what exactly is happening here with Alex, but I do know I feel content for the first time in a long time.

NEXT DAY AT THE POLICE STATION

   "Alright, Morgan, Prentiss, Blake, and Y/L/N go to the first address and the rest of you come with me to the second. We have to find him and we have to find him quick."

There were two possible addresses that the unsub could be at and to save time we decided to split. Once Blake, Prentiss, Morgan, and I arrived we saw motion on the upper level.

   "I've got the front with Y/n" Morgan said. "Blake and Prentiss you take the back"

Morgan knocked on the door and there was no answer. Then he did what Morgan does best, he kicked the door in. On the other side of the door there was the unsub holding a Glock. He fired the first shot and both Morgan and I fired back. I'm not sure who, but one of got him and he fell to the floor.
