After leaving Ava's house, Bucky drove until he reached a stop sign. He sat on his bike in complete disbelief. It was his worst fears come true; she didn't want him, couldn't love him. It made no sense; especially after all the conversations they had while he was gone. He spoke to her just last night, and she was so excited that he would be back today. They had even made plans. Something wasn't right.

He turned the bike around and headed back to Ava's house. He stopped a few doors down so no one could hear the engine, just in case. He ran to Ava's back door and checked to see if it would open. It was locked so he used his metal arm to squeeze the door knob until it broke.

He pulled out his gun and began to walk quietly thru the house. He checked the living room and was headed into the bedroom when he heard a male voice. His jaw clenched. He walked to the bedroom door staying to the side so he couldn't be seen and looked into the bedroom. What he saw made his blood boil with rage.

Ava was sitting against the headboard on the bed with Kyle was sitting in front of her, facing away from the door. He had removed his shirt and was taking Ava's hands and placing them on his chest.

"Make me feel something, Ava," he commanded her.  When she didn't immediately respond, he shoved her roughly against the headboard and showed her the gun in his hand, "Now!"

Ava's blood shot eyes snapped up to Kyle's face, "You want to feel something, you sick son of a bitch? I'll make you feel something." Before he could react, Ava reached out and grabbed Kyle's face, a black glow emitted from her hands as she showed Kyle his worst fears. Kyle began to scoot backward on the bed while trying to stand up, but Ava didn't let go. The black glow grew bigger as Kyle started to scream. He brought up the hand that held the gun and struck Ava across the face. Ava fell off the bed, unconscious on the floor, as Bucky ran towards her, yelling her name.

Kyle heard Bucky enter the room and tried to raise the gun. Bucky was quicker and shot first. Kyle fell backward on the bed with a bullet hole thru his forehead.

"Ava!" Buck yelled as he knelt beside her, "Wake up, Doll. Come on, let me see your beautiful eyes," he commanded gruffly. He sat on the floor and pulled her head onto his lap. He stroked her cheek and spoke soothingly to her as he dialed 911. Once he was off the phone with the police, he called Sam.
