Beauty of the earth

The world is so beautiful and I think we tend to forget that
We forget how the leaves crunch when we step on them
We forget the sounds of the waves crashing onto the shore and the smell of the cold crisp air that comes with it
We forget how her smile lights up the room
And we forget how the moon shines so brightly at night and how when the raindrops hit the earth they make a small pitter patter like the sounds of our heart beats
We forget about all these things and so much more because we have forgotten how to see through the eyes of a child and now we wander the earth and fill it with our tears and they hit the earth just like the pitter patter of the raindrops in the dark
