Her hair is soft like rose petals and the color of a gorgeous sunflower
This all seems so cliché to say but it's true
Her smiles as bright as the moon but you would never know
Flowers shy away at her beauty
Hoping to emerge some other day when she is gone
These flaws and imperfections she sees don't seem so imperfect to me
She is still as beautiful as Lily and even the prettiest flowers have torn leaves
She wouldn't believe me if I told her that just the thought of her smile made me happy in even the most gray of days
That her laugh sounded as pretty as waves rushing over the rocks
So loving and kind and I'm not quite sure why but just as a bees made to make honey maybe she's meant to have her sweet words flow over any one who needs them
But like the moon she can't stay long
Telling me goodbye and I would see her again some other night
She leaves and I weep as the sun blinds me with its burning stare
The clouds have covered her beauty for many a day and even though she promised she would stay I think she promised the clouds something else and that I was much to late
