The kiss deepened, and Brian lost his footing. He fell down on the bed and pulled Destiny down with him. She pulled back from the kiss and assessed the fact that he was in a sitting down and she was now straddling him. She checked his arm, to make sure he was okay.
"I'm fine," he said breathlessly. "Just a klutz." His good arm tightened around her.
She stared into his eyes for a long moment, before lowering her head and kissing him again. During the kiss, she ran her hands through his hair, which was still wet. His lips moved from her mouth, to the line of her jaw, to her neck. She tilted her head back, and his kisses trailed even lower, past her collarbone. She clenched her thighs tight around him and started to grind on top of him. It wasn't a deliberate move, not something she thought to do. It was just a natural physical reaction to the feel of his lips on her skin.
His lips returned to hers as he untucked her shirt from her shorts. Then his hand was on her lower stomach, and her mind was sent reeling.
She sucked on his lips, and moaned against them, and grabbed him by the hair so she could pull his head back. His eyes widened, but he didn't make a move to stop her as she started to lick and suck down the curve of his throat.
His breathing was ragged. He was growing hard beneath her.
With her tongue licking against the base of his throat, she had to remind herself that she'd wanted them to slow down. She lifted her head and released the hold she had on his hair.
He looked up at her with fiery eyes.
"Sorry, I got a little out of control there," she said, breathing just as hard as he was.
"A little?" he asked, running a hand through his hair.
She tried to ignore how incredibly hot he looked when he ran his hand through his hair, and failed horribly. Impulsively, she dipped her head down and kissed him again. She nipped at his lips and he nipped right back, tongue wrestled with him and lost.
His stomach rumbled, and he abruptly pulled back from the kiss. "How unsexy is that?" he joked, frowning down at his stomach.
She laughed. "I'm starving, too."
"Food break?" he asked, looking up at her.
She nodded. "Definitely time for a food break." She continued helping him dress, their eyes locking as she pulled the Polo shirt down over his head. The kisses may have stopped, but the flirty looks were just beginning.

The day was sunny with a light breeze, but the weather was noticeably chillier than it had been earlier in the week, indicating that summer was coming to an end. It was still warm enough to wear shorts and short-sleeved shirts, thankfully, but those days wouldn't last for much longer.
A limousine service picked Brian and Destiny up from the marina, and the limo driver was much more personable than Pierre from the previous night. He talked to them and kept conversation going.
While the driver was talking to them, Brian would randomly kiss her, or touch her in a way that would make her giggle. The entire car ride, they could barely keep their hands off of each other. If he wasn't kissing her or touching a bare thigh, then she was leaning on him and he was running his hand up and down her arm.
The restaurant he took her to was just as nice as he'd promised. It was a large and airy place with indoor and outdoor tables. They chose an indoor table in the corner of the establishment, trying to steer clear of prying eyes. Toronto might be a fairly decent-sized city, but anyone from Graham Enterprises could stop in for lunch and see Brian and Destiny together. That was a complication that neither of them needed, considering the fact that most people knew that she was romantically linked to Aubrey.
