here we go again. restless night number .. lost count. it is 2 in the morning and im up. i mind as well scroll through my phone one last time. going through everyone's stories. theyre either heartbroken. talking about moving in silence ..while announcing their silence. backwards ass hoes. then i got to jhene's ig. i almost forgot she had a date today.

that was the end of her story. that was from like 2hrs ago. im glad she enjoyed herself. kinda sucks she aint post herself i would to see her in the outfit we picked.

but damn i am still tired. after all that scrolling. my eyes are burning theyre so dry. i just want some sleep.

ive tried to play my ukulele. counted sheep just for giggles, that shit is a scam. tried singing myself to sleep too. even tried tea. none of it worked. only way i can sleep is in her arms.

a dangerous game im playing relying on someone for a good night's sleep. but i cant help it. how she held me and sang soothingly in my ear. rubbing me ever so slightly as if i could shatter under her touch. laying on her chest listening to her heartbeat.

this maybe a desperate call but technically i am so .. that evens it out. i call her. it rings and rings and rings. until it finally picked up.

it was silent for a while, i dont know i couldnt speak. it was like my voice got stuck in my throat. restraining myself from talking just wanting to hang up. this was a mistake.

"hello?" she said softly. i can tell she was sleep because i heard the slight rasp but it wasn't abundant. "who is th— hello?" she asked again. she clicked her screen with her acrylic i heard it on my end.

"billie." she whispered. "soleil are you alright? speak to me baby, come on." i cleared my throat trying to speak. but i couldnt, it felt as if there were barbed wired being wrapped around my vocal cords. i was choked up.

i seen something fall on my screen.. am i crying? why the fuck am i crying ? i literally hate emotions. i began to whine getting fed up with my actions.

"come on bebe." her french accent came through thick, "you have to use your words for me. im sleep." she barely said. i sniffled wiping my tears away. i heard movement on the other end and a dim light came on.

"are you crying hun?" her beautiful face popped into view. i couldnt really see her face in full detail as it was still a bit dark. her hair was covered, maybe in a dark colored bonnet. but i still seen her prominent nose. her oval shaped lips pouted out in concern. 

you can tell she was alert now. blinking her eyes and drinking her water trying to wake up. "can you pick up your phone for me. let me see that pretty face." she gushed causing me to slightly blush. hiding my face in my blanket. "come on darling dont be a stranger."

after taking a few deep breaths, i finally got the courage and strength to life up a bit. "yes i dont know why though. im just so sleepy."i croaked. "i cant sleep." i wiped my tears picking up my phone.

"aw ma soleil." she brung her phone to her face kissing the camera. "do you want me to sing for you. is that it ?" i shyly nodded my head embarrassed of my actions. she is reading me like a book right now,

"no need to be ashamed darling. im here now. i want you to lay back for me. get under your covers ok. fluff up your pillows if needed." she instructed and i followed.

"ok i did it. are you going to sing now?" i asked.

"be patient dear. i am. are you comfy now?" i nodded my head wanting her to sing now. she got back into her blankets as well.

"listen to me darlin, when you're feeling small, alone in the night you whisper thinking no one can hear you at all." she sang getting my divided attention. my eyes were growing heavy. i remember this feeling. i wish i was in her arms instead.

"you wake with the morning sunlight to find fortune that is smiling on you. dont let your heart be filled with sorrow. For all you know tomorrow. the dream that you wish will come true." she finished smoothly.

"goodnight ma soleil. have sweet dreams." she turned off her light. and that was the last thing i heard before i fell asleep.

i wasn't supposed to update again so fastt LMAO. but i got bored in class n said why not ?
