recap i went to the breads and bagels getting white and raisin going to find the cream cheese and mayo. i went to the lunch meats finding the honey turkey. i went to the snack aisles stacking up. i grabbed donut sticks, oreos both yellow and original. some more random snacks and then finally grabbing the hot cheetos. but then i heard..

"I could ask you the same thing. And no hot cheetos are better, takis are too hard." i replied simply. She gasped. "Take that back right now!" i went to stare at her thinking about it, "nope." i looked inside my cart to make sure I had everything i needed.
"You suck." she said before turning away. I took a bag of chips and threw them at her back. She stopped in her tracks slowly turning around. I tried so hard to laugh in her face.
I stood still looking everywhere but her, she came up to me putting her finger under my chin making me look at her. It was silent for a while until she laughed. I let out a breath i didnt even know i was holding.
"Go to hell." i said before leaving the aisle. I heard her snicker and i flipped her off. I went to the cashier and started bagging up the items he rung up. While i was doing that i was on uber ordering my uber.
10 minutes. Ugh.
i rolled my eyes ordering it anyways then taking out the cash i had. It came up to 120. Walmart be so expensive i remember when all this would come up to like 50 dollars too but nooo they so extra now.
Anyways. I went outside with my bags waiting for the ubers, when i seen a van rolling up in front of me. I didnt think they were for me until i heard a honk.
I couldve sworn the uber was a lexus. I was confused about to check my phone until i heard her.. again. "Jhene, if you dont come on. Do you need a ride? Its getting late bro." she said to me.
I seen a lady with brownish red hair in the drivers and a man with red hair in the passenger seat. Billie was in the back like a child, i chuckled.
"what's funny?" she asked. i shook my head "nothin but thanks my ride will be here in a few. i could use the fresh air anyways" i tried to reason with her. she bust into a fit of laughter once again. "fresh air ?! in LA ?! where you from girl?!"
"philly."
"ouu foreign.but no its crazy out here get in. we are not murderers dont you see our sweet faces ?" they all turned to me and gave me a smile. finneas' was my favorite.
"sounds like something a murderer would say."
i took off my mask forgetting it was on. i grinned walking to the car with hella bags in my hands. billie was just staring at me. like how ma dre would. i bucked at her since i couldnt wave my hands in her face. she jumped real hard.
"you can either continue staring not helping me with the bags or take a picture boost my ego AND help with the bags. option two sounds lovely by the way." i gave a sweet yet sarcastic smile.
"touche." i heard her mumble before coming out taking the bags to the trunk. i got settled in the car canceling the ride. thank god i did because it looks like the idiot got lost. i gave their momma my address.
"here you go..." waiting for her to give me her name, "oh its maggie dear and this is finneas my eldest son." she put the address in her gps and began to drive. i looked to my left and looked at billie. i just realized her mask was off. fuck this bitch is finer than i thought.
before she could catch me staring again i turned away going on my phone calling my father. (bold is jhene) "Papa ?"
"yes chérie?"
"Salut, je suis sur le chemin du retour." (translation: Hi. im on my way home.)
"oh ok are you ok?"
"yes im safe."
"who are you with?"
"Leurs noms sont billie,maggie est finneas. theyre sweet papa." (translation: their names are)
"ok jhene ill be in the living room just ring the bell."

and with that we hung up.
"umm .. what the hell was that?" i looked up and seen everyone looking at me shocked and a bit scared lol.
"ohh," my eyes widened i forgot i was speaking in another language. oops. "sorry guys it was my father i was just letting him know i was safe. im not a murderer i swear." i chuckled a bit.
"yea something a murderer would say." billie slick said.
"touche. but im serious it was just my french." i looked out the window seeing we were in my neighborhood. once i started to see my house i started to gather my things.
taking out money to give to maggie for driving out the way to drop me off. i began to hand it to her when she started to pull over.
"oh sweetie its nothing. i couldnt leave a pretty thing like you all out by yourself. have a nice night dear. billie help her with the bags!"
"youre the sweetest. thanks ms maggie. goodnight. billie hurry up." she huffed and puffed before getting out the car.
she grabbed some bags and i grabbed the rest. when we got to my porch she whistled. "someones loadedd." she said inna joking manner.
"hush up. its cute though right ? me n my dad just moved here today literally." i said with a smile.
"oh really ? if you ever need help unpacking im free and i could bring finneas.we arent even that far from here. im pretty sure hes strong enough to do something." she said sarcastically with a smirk.
"billie please." i giggled reaching for the doorbell. i looked to the car, "i didnt take you as a van person especially not a backseat person." i said smirking.
"fuck you that shit isnt even mine and i had to because finneas big ass pushed me out the way." she rolled her eyes. my father finally came out reaching for the bags.
"oh hello you must be.."
"billie. my mom and brother are in the van right there." she pointed.
"thanks so much for bringing my girl home. that was so nice of you guys. relay the message to your mom for me. oh im keith by the way."
"it was no problem. goodnight keith. goodnight jhene." she grabbed my hand kissing it again. i dont know why she does that but i love it. i grabbed hers and did the same. "goodnight billie." she looked at me with confusion then she blushed a bit then she smiled lightly.
i wanted to ask her so badly, are you ok? i couldnt tell you why though. it was something in my gut just bugging me to ask. when i kissed her hand i felt weird. a good weird it was unfamiliar yet warm.
i walked in putting the groceries away. my father went to join me once he was done bringing them all in.
"you two seem close. how is that possible ?" he pondered wanting to know more about our friendship.
"i dont know. but new beginnings right?"
