recap "im nosy who are you gonna write to?" i asked jhene.

its the next day and right now im in anatomy with billie. today is going real slow. it was nothing going on today. im literally gonna jump out this window.
"hi class. so today we're actually gonna be pairing up," the class immediately groaned. "i know i know but it's important. its for a project,itll boost your grade. its 50% so dont slack." Ms. Herrera explained.
"the project is gonna be a 2 people pair up of course. you will receive an organ or body part to write about. you will write about what it does how it operates and contributes to the human body. and for extra credit you can even try to connect the organ to something interesting you find. like an old belief or fact. well thats about it ill leave you guys to it. this project is due next month."
"so today is the 18th of january youll have until february 18th. a whole month i want no excuses of any late work unless i see you in a hospital bed. good luck you can partner up now."
everyone scrambled out of their seats to find their partners. some of them were in billies face asking to be her partner. she declined with a smile. that contagious smile everyone loves.
"billie do you mind being my partner ? i think we can really hit it off together." a random asked. you can tell that had a double meaning to it. just based off of how she batted her eyes and forced her cleavage out of her top.
"flattered tana i am but no thank you."she politely declined. "im working with jhene." that made me perk up. i turned to them to see billie making her way over to me.
i fixed the mask on my face feeling it tickle my nose. the tana girl rolled her eyes going back to wherever she came from.
"really ? youve had plenty of options you couldve chosen them. i dont wanna feel like an obligation." i began to ramble.
"quiet." she said softly. "i picked you because i picked you." billie picked up my hand giving it a kiss with her mask on. i smiled a bit under my own mask but i managed to keep my composure.
Ms. Herrera was coming around the room with little papers. when she finally came to us i noticed it was folded. she sat it down and i picked it up. i put it in front of billies view and opened it.
"kidney?!?" we both said in shock. "how the hell we gon— nvm this shouldnt be hard at all." i said.
"only thing i know about kidneys is something about pee." billie admitted.
"we can do the research at my place. or yours it doesnt matter." i suggested.
"we can go to mine after school. i can come over this weekend. i mean i was already coming over right ? to help you unpack." billie asked trying to recall our agreement.
