recap "thank you for taking care of me today. i really appreciate it. but i can feed myself, youre making me feel like a baby." she giggled into my side.

she picked up a fork, picking up a piece of salmon and a cucumber placing it up to my mouth. i rolled my eyes with a smile before going to eat it. holy shit.
"is this ma dre's recipe? ohmygod i didnt taste this in foreverr." i gushed. the last time i had this was wayy before she passed.
"umm i guess. i just bought and made whatever your father checked off in that recipe book." she explained putting more food on the fork. i grabbed it myself wanting to eat on my own. "damn this is mad good. omg you did so good soleil."
"thank you. im glad youre getting your energy back. here drink some ginger ale." she giggled handing me a cup. i grabbed it and drank it, one of the best sodas tbh. i grabbed the plate from her and started to eat by myself. she hit this recipe on the nose chile.
"oh someone really got the appetite and energy back. i love that for you. do you need anything else ?"
"i want ice cream. you should carry me downstairs." i suggested with a grin. she rolled her eyes moving the tray off her lap onto the nightstand by her. she stood up opening her arms. "come on." she grumbled.
"girl whatever." i got up and jumped into her arms wrapping my legs around her waist. "why is your shirt so wet?" i leaned back looking at it.
"umm i was on bath duty remember?" she asked sarcastically. "whatever," i laughed. "here take it off i'll give you another one." i pulled the shirt up halfway and she took the rest of it off with one hand. how she did it ? i have no idea. magic.
i laid my head down in her neck. she placed her hand back under my thigh and we walked downstairs. when we got to the kitchen she put me down and i went to the freezer part of the fridge. "billie can you get me the bowl i dont wanna reach."
"ok mama, anything else?" she asked.
"umm i guess you can hand me the spoon. these ice creams seems soft enough i dont think i need the scooper." i walked over to her and she placed the things in front of me. i took the spoon and dug in. it was easy at first but after the 3rd scoop it wouldnt budge.
"here let me do it. i dont need you wasting your energy or breaking a spoon." she said grabbing the stuff out my hands. "ugh you love babying me." i grumbled.
"because youre my little baby." she said in her funny baby voice causing me to laugh. she closed the cookies and creme putting it in the freezer. she came back to open the party cake and started to scoop that one too. "wheres the sprinkles ?" i asked. "i want some pleaseeee."
she looked at me and sighed with a shy smile. "jhene selene.. what am i gonna do with you." she went to the cabinet pulling out the container of sprinkles.
