"build a bear ? really ? whatever. yall too grown." anyha said paying for the techs. i sucked my teeth.
"its not like that shut upppp. now come on we can go to gucci afterwards." i dragged her to the escalator, on our way to build a bear.
when we finally got there i squealed like a child looking at all the colorful bears. the clothes hanging up, the cotton in the machines. i just might make myself a bear.
i seen so many cute bears i could cry. i want them all ! the bunnies are so cutee. i felt the material on basically all of them, theyre so soft. meanwhile anyha found herself a bear to make.
"i thought this was childish ?" i asked tapping my foot.
"shut up. its so soft i cant help it." she pouted giving the lady the bear to stuff. thats when i saw it. there was a vintage collection, on the highest shelf. i automatically fell in love. "oh.my.god!" i shouted. "i want it. i want it. i want ittt !!" i said happily pointing at the 2 conjoined bears.
"which ones do you want maam ? im also required to tell you that any bears in the vintage collection are over 80 dollars." the boy informed me.
"those 2 right there. and thats fine i'll be able to pay. i have a questions though really quickly. will i able to customize one ? like putting in the recordings ? also last one i swear, how long can the recordings be ?" i asked trying to be as specific as possible.
"yes you can customize them but itll cost extra and the recordings are usually a minute max." he told me after retrieving the bears with the grabby stick thing. "ok great ! i want to put a recording in the blue one."
"alright no problem. we can do that. just follow me." we walked over to the station with the hearts and scents. "did you want a heartbeat or the regular heart ?" good question..
"heartbeat please!" he laughed at my enthusiasm picking out the heartbeat toy placing it in the back of the bear.
"ok we can start the recording, are you ready ?"
"yea i am but im actually gonna sing,it wont take long." i took the recorder out his hands and began the desired part of the song, "if you keep on believing. the dream that you wish will come true. "thank you so much. im gonna skip the birth certificate, clothing and bathing part. i want to pay now. im gettin a lil tired na." i joked with him.
"girl same my shift is about to ending soon. thank the lord. come follow me ill ring you up." i followed him taking the bears out his hands. i cooed when i realized that the hands of the bears are magnetic, so they can split whenever.
"your total for everything is $96.54" he told me, i reached in my bag handing him my card.
"finally what the hell." anyha creeped up on me. "i was waiting for you. look at my cute little creation. i named her princess." she gushed showing me her pretty bunny.
"that is a cute bunny. look at my bears though ! theyre vintage and so cute. im literally in love. i cant wait to show billie." i exclaimed grabbing the bag from the boy, "goodnight sir get home safely."
"same to you !" he replied. now we're making our way back down the escalator on our way to gucci. im just gonna get her a blanket. i hope they have a weighted one, thats one i would prefer for her.
"those bears are so cute jhene omg! i cant wait until tomorrow !" anyha cheesed ear to ear. im literally so excited. "right i cant wait. i just wanna see her reaction honestly."
"look guccis right there we have to hurry ! lets just split get our things pay and leave." anyha planned and i nodded in agreement. "yea in and out."
we walked into the store and immediately she went to the smell good area. i went to wear blankets or quilts may be.
i found them in the back. they all were cute but like they werent screaming billie. then i saw it, the double sided wool blanket. i grabbed it to get a feel and it was soft as hell.
i immediately grabbed it and went to the register. i seen anyha cashing out too. i put my things on the counter and the lady scanned and bagged it. i gave her my card, paid and left.
we walked out and high fived.
