billie finally started to get into bed after washing her hands. she didnt lay me ontop of her, only nuzzling my head into her neck.
"we have school tomorrow so im gonna have to leave soon mama." she said to me while caressing my shoulder.
"ok but just stay a little longer." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ after a few minutes of lying down with jhene she was fast asleep. i feel like im gonna get good sleep at home. i started to get up causing her to squirm around. she peeked her head up, "are you leaving?" she asked, drool on the side of her mouth.
"yes darling i have to go home now." she got up going into her closet. she came out with a tiny blanket in her hands, spraying something onto it. she walked over to her night stand handing me a sack filled with rocks.
"these should help you sleep tonight soleil." she placed a mesh bag of rocks into my hand, lying the blanket down ontop. "what is this? some sort of weapon?" i took them from her.
"theyre different crystals i have. this is celestite, it helped you the other night during your episode. just put it under your pillow. the rest that are in there are smoky quartz, a selenite wand, amethyst and obsidian. and this is just a blanket of mine sprayed with my scent to soothe you. take good care of it."
"aw thank you angel,but what episode?" i asked her completely confused. "did i have a night terror here?" i asked getting self conscious.
"yea you did but its fine. i took care of you and ill do it every night if i have to." she consoled taking my hand in hers. im so lucky to have her as a friend. i just met her almost a month ago and shes so understanding of basically everything.
"thank you selene.i appreciate it can you tell me where the laundry room is ?" she ended up telling me where it was before going back to bed. i went to look for my phone and keys first before leaving out.
"wait billie come back." jhene called out so i made my way towards her. she stood up grabbing my hand kissing it,then my heart. i smiled at the gesture and returned the favor.
"ok lie down now angel go to bed." she sat down getting under her covers getting comfortable. when she finally closed her eyes i leaned down, adding a kiss to her forehead. she sighed in content and i walked away.
i rushed down to the laundry room. i felt like i was on some spy shit. i did not need her dad looking at me half naked i would faint. once i made it i hurriedly put on my boxers and sweatsuit. i walked into the kitchen looking around for a plastic bag to put my clothes into.
"sneaking out on my daughter?" keith said coming out of nowhere. i jumped so hard clenching my heart.
"jesus christ. you and your daughter have a thing of sneaking up on people huh?" i asked him. he chuckled a bit. "and no im not sneaking out i would never do that to her."
"ok good. are you 2 dating or something ? whats going on with that ?" he questioned causing me to get hot. i cleared my throat. "no we're just friends thats all." he scanned me head to toe with a smile.
"that sounds familiar. i used to come up with that same story, telling it to her mother's parents back in the day. but if you guys really arent dating now i definitely see you two together." he told me.
i ran my hands down my face, trying to decide if i should open up or talk about this. ive talked to drew and x before but this is different.. its the girl's father.
"ok look," i started. "there we go. i knew it." he cheered lowly.
"we're not together. but i do feel something for your daughter. shes an awful lot of help to me. i appreciate everything she does for me. i mean look at this," i pulled out the blanket and stone. "she gave me these so i can sleep better at night when im not with her." his face twisted up in confusion.
"she gave you that blanket?" he asked for clarification.
"uhh yea, i don't sleep at night most times. i have night terrors." i admitted embarrassingly.
"no not that. thats fine im sure itll go away one day hun. but im talking about that blanket. she gave you that specific blanket ?"
"umm yea is there something wrong? she knew what she was doing she dug deep into her closet looking for it." i explained kind of confused.
"its just that, thats a blanket her mom gave her when she was younger. it meant alot to her. im just surprised she gave it off so easily. you really are special to her." he explained. i smiled at that last sentence.
"yea i guess i am. she did tell me to take care of it. i didnt think much of it i just thought it was a favorite blanket of hers."
"you definitely have my blessing for her even if you never asked." he laughed causing me to start as well.
"if there's anything you need from me dealing with jhene just let me know."
"actually valentines day is coming up.." i trailed off, "i think there's something you can help out with."
"you name it lil bil." and i immediately laughed at that. "no wayy omg."
"that's definitely gonna stick. you're basically apart of the family now." he said shrugging his shoulders.
"i love that man. but hey about valentines day .. lets talk."
