RWBY: Remnant in Earth. (a RWBY/Earth fanfic story)

chapter 7: beacon academy.

Ruby: oh, don't worry. we're quite far from vale, but we can lead you there.

she said with a childish manner

yang: we should've told that pilot to stay with us.

she said hysterically

ruby: a-anyways, we should head to beacon academy. our headmaster wants to meet you.

steve: why?

weiss: it's because you guys appeared on our shores, east from vale.

steve: makes sense. (then turned to his troops) Alright everyone, they're no threat to us, pack everything and we'll head to the city.

marines: sir yes sir.

they responded with salutes as they get ready to leave mt. glenn

(beacon academy)

after succesfully making first contact, ruby and her team led the unknown troops to beacon. along the way, they ran into more of the grimm which ruby and her team quickly disposed of. ruby informed the americans that they're monsters called ''grimm'', a malevolent force of destruction that are drawn to negative emotions. with this new info, steve tried to keep his troops calm during their journey to the academy

once they arrived, their sudden arrival caused a massive shock to the student body as team RWBY led the clueless americans through the gates, and after parking their vehicles in front of the entrance, they were met with an uncomfortable welcome from a large group of huntsman & huntresses-in-training, who were gathering to see the newcomers who had shown up with ruby's team

most of the marines noticed the students gawking at the soldiers, who were carrying actual weapons, ranging from swords to firearms

steve: why are they carrying weapons?

he asked ruby

ruby: because this is a combat school. i'm a student here training to become a huntress.

steve: o....kaaay..that means that these students are like you, right?

yang: yeah, but they have their own semblances and aura.

weiss: and what's with all the questions? it's like you never seen a huntsman/huntress before.

steve: that's because we never had any. and what's an aura and a...semblance?

yang: wait....you've never heard of any of those things before?

she said in disbelief

steve: no, this happens to be the first time i've ever heard of those words being used in that kind of context.

yang: you've got to be-

only to be cut off by someone coming their way

ozpin: what is going on here?

he said as he, and a few teachers holding different weapons, approaching them

steve: are you the headmaster?

ozpin: yes, i am professor ozpn, headmaster of beacon academy. and you are...?

steve: captain steve rogers of the united states marines, red skulls division. i'm leading the recon force to establish first contact within this area.

marines: RED SKULLS, RESPECT AND PROTECT!!!!!!!!

they all said in unison as steve and ozpin shake hands

ozpin: so i guess that means you're part of an unknown military. (he said as he sipped his coffee) mr. rogers, come with me so we can talk about this ''recon force'' you mentioned.

steve: ok, but i need to tell my men to not harm your students while i'm with you.

ozpin: understood.

steve: thanks (then turns to a marine sitting on a tank) First lieutenant wayne.

wayne: sir?

steve: while me and the headmaster are talking, make sure that everyone stands down and don't cause trouble, understood?

wayne: understood.

he answered as steve headed inside the academy with ozpin

as they left, ruby was inspecting the marine's weapons, equipment and armored vehicles with her adorable silver eyes

ruby: so..... what kind of weapons do you guys carry?

she said as the marines stood confused, looking at the red cloaked girl's face, which was covered with a gleeful expression

(beacon academy: ozpin's office)

as ozpin and steve exited the elevator, the marine was met with a large room and with even larger windows, which gave them a great view of the emeerald forest and the city nearby. he was speechless at the giant gears above him as ozpin sat in his chair and placed his mug on his desk

ozpin: so, mr. rogers, tell me what brings you here in the kingdom of vale?

he asked

steve: the reason we came here is because of the new landscape that appeared in the middle of between alaska and hawaii, and western parts of the US. president biden and the UN declared military expiditions due to this ''land appearing in the middle of the sea out of nowhere'' incident. therefore, our mission was to establish first contact with whatever foreign civilization we might run into.

he explained

ozpin: well that is quite a story. so, mr.rogers, where did you come from and what is this ''united nations'' you speak of?

steve began to explain more to ozpin. the explaining lasted for almost 20 minutes, the info that steve gave to ozpin surprised the headmaster due to the fact that they're no longer on remnant, but instead in a world called, according to the marine, Earth.

ozpin nearly dropped his mug of coffee when he learned that earth's population was around 7 billion humans living worldwide with hundreds of cultures spread across over 195 nations. but when ozpin asked about the grimm, steve told him that they never existed but despite this, there were still human conflicts around the globe

he asked one more question about dust and surprisingly, steve had no knowledge of it, but ozpin explained what dust is to him but sadly, the answer he got was that before the convergence, dust didn't exist, just like the grimm
at this point, the marine began to explain the power sources the people of earth use

ozpin: that, for su, is quite impossible. to think that the people of these ''nations'', as you call them, rely on an alternative energy source as compared to dust. one of my best teachers, Bartholomew Oobleck, would be fascinated by your people's knowledge. but enough discussion, tomorrow i must send this report to the vale coundil right away.

he said as the scre went dark
