As I entered the bedroom, I realized that I had forgotten my handbag in the bathroom. I swiftly walked back and grabbed it from the paper bag. I then swung it over my arm and found myself looking in the mirror before ambling to the bedroom once again. I jumped when I was met with another presence.

"Kurapika! You scared me..." I grumbled before turning to my side of the room and tidying everything up. Kurapika remained silent, standing in the doorframe the entire time.

"Hello?" I waved a hand in front of his line of sight, pulling him out of whatever reverie he was stuck in.

"Oh, sorry. I uh... spaced out," he said, tugging on his undershirt and returning his hands to his pockets.

That was probably exactly how I looked when he opened the door earlier. At least I know that I look good, even if he won't blurt it out like I did.

I giggled at Kurapika's flustered expression and walked past him and toward the door, waiting for him.

He caught up and opened the door, holding it open, and then followed me down the hallway and to the elevator. We stepped inside and were immediately shrouded by an uncomfortable silence.

Silence with Kurapika is usually very comfortable. Why does it feel so weird all of a sudden?

I cleared my throat and broke the ice, attempting to put an end to the awkwardness. "So, do you know of any fun places we should check out while we're downtown?"

"Yes, actually. There are a lot of shops, local restaurants, a planetarium, many casinos, a lively club... those are the only locations I'm aware of as of now," he responded.

I nervously smiled. "...This might sound childish or nerdy but can we go to the planetarium? I know it's mostly families with children that go to those, but I never visited one as a kid..."

He chuckled. "Of course. That isn't childish at all. I've seen many adults there."

"Okay," I grinned at him. "...You described the club as 'lively', have you been there before?"

"No, I haven't. I've only heard about it from Hisoka. Apparently he has many past experiences in this city. It was all he could talk about when he decided we would meet here."

"Oh, right, speaking of Hisoka-"

The elevator dinged and opened, revealing the bottom floor. "Hold that thought for when we're in the car," Kurapika stopped me. I nodded and followed him past the lobby and through the rose gold doors. I entered the dark SUV and sighed as I molded myself into the passenger seat.

He took the driver's seat and put the keys into the ignition. "What is it you were saying?"

"It's just that... shouldn't we be cautious of Hisoka as well while we're in the city? He's still here, right?"

"I've already thought about that. I'm certain that he killed that other spider. I didn't see that particular spider at the performance, so it's likely that Hisoka killed him at the Troupe's current hideout. He is probably focused on taking down the other members at the moment, so I doubt he will be anywhere near us."
