"Okay, so," I started as I stood with my arms crossed. "Where did you see Chrollo, Hisoka?"

"Mmm~ there was a performance at the Princess Hotel last night. Chrollo was in the audience. He was alone. I joined the audience as well. How fun... reliving my former days of glory."

"...Performance? Like magic shows and clowns? Why the hell was he there? I thought he would be searching for Kurapika," I wondered.

"He already knows we're here. He's waiting for us to make a move," Kurapika chimed in.

"That's likely true... Hey, Hisoka, how much do you know about the Princess Hotel and the... performances or whatever?" I asked. Hisoka smirked and ran a hand through his hair.

"Just about everything~"

"Alright, then do you know if there will be another show tomorrow night?" I was too tired to try anything that night, so the next day was perfect for me.

He chuckled mischievously as he responded with "There will."

"Perfect," I smirked.

"(Y/n), what are you planning?" Kurapika demanded.

"I'm going to the performance, disguised of course. All I need to do is see someone's face in person in order for my satellite ability to work, but I have to be somewhat close. If I manage to place a satellite on Chrollo, I'll be able to see where he's staying, and whether or not he's with any other spiders," I explained with a smile.

"That's if he shows up. Something tells me he will, though. He's either putting himself in the spotlight because he's expecting us to do something, or he's simply bored and has nothing better to do. I'm assuming the former," Kurapika added. "If I'm correct, that means he will be on high alert. He'll be prepared. You are not going alone."

"You can't come with, Kurapika! Didn't you say you've captured him before? It's possible he can recognize you even through a disguise."

"Actually, I am very good at disguises."

I took a long shower in the hotel room before changing into a new pair of sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and flipped on the light in the bedroom to find a sleeping Kurapika.

"Don't you have any respect for others?" he groaned. He was now tucked under a comforter, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt.

"I didn't know you were in here!" I said defensively. "...Hey, where's the other bed?" I looked around the room, searching for any sight of a second bed.

"There is no other bed. Hisoka and I had no idea you'd be coming along."

Oh. Right. I should've guessed that.

"Um... should I sleep on the couch then? I don't want to make you uncomfortable or anything."

"No, no. It's fine. This is an Alaskan king bed. We won't even be near each other... Of course, if you'd rather stay on the couch, I won't stop you."

"Oh, okay. This is... this is fine then," I stated. Kurapika moved to the right side of the bed; I took the left.

He was right. We weren't near each other. There were probably about four feet separating us. Even though we were now slightly far apart, I felt safer in his proximity. I had been so used to sleeping in—and living in—an empty house, all alone. It'd been forever since I last slept with someone by my side. I felt very secure.
