City Of Clace Chapter 1

" Jace!?!" Clary called out to the darkness, fumbling around blindly.

Someone had just jumped into her room through the window and she thought she saw a flash of golden hair in the moonlight. She really hoped it wasn't Sebastion. (Sorry if i spelled that wrong)Or worse, Valentine.

"Jace?!? Please tell me that's you!" Clary half whispered half shouted.

"Hey, sorry if i scared you. " Jace whispered back, his face blanketed by shadows. But there was something.....different.

"Jace? Is something wrong? You don't sound like yourself. " She said, the worry clear in her voice.

"Yes everything's fine. Just come with me."

Again something sounded wrong in his voice. Like.....like he was being forced to say it and he really didn't want to. Jace tilted his head so Clary could see all of his face and what she saw made her gasp. Half of his face was exactly how Jace's face was. The other half was completely different. It looked as if the skin had been peeled back and all that was left was tendons and bone. Then everything went black. But she saw one last thing. Jace laying face down on the floor with Valentine standing above him, laughing.

"Clary! Clary wake up! "Jace whispered while shaking Clary awake gently.
She awoke with a gasp and tears in her eyes. Jace could tell her dream had been very disturbing. Clary never cried. Period.

"I...i dreamt that you came into my room and you were trying to get me to go somewhere but i could tell something was wrong so i didnt go and then i saw your face and you died and......and." Then Clary burst into tears.

Jace was tempted to put a silence rune on her but figured she wouldn't appreciate it very much.

"It's okay now, i promise. "Jace cooed.

He wrapped his strong arms around her tiny frame and gently kissed her neck, then her cheek, and finally her lips. He could tell she was feeling better because she smiled into the kiss and wove her fingers through his hair. Boy, did he love it when she did that.

"Oh get a room you two!" Izzy yelled as she opened the door, revealing Clary and Jace.

"In case you hadn't notice, we were in a room. You just barged in and didn't even knock. Now if you don't mind, Clary and i are going to continue what we were doing before you so rudely interrupted. "Jace said.

"No you two aren't going to continue. Yesterday Clary promised to go shopping with me! " Izzy whined.

"She's right Jace, i did promise. I'd better go. Bye! Love you! " Clary replied getting off the bed and walking towards the door.

"What? No shower? "Jace questioned.

"Jace that's gross! Keep it to yourself" Izzy shouted as she slammed the door behind her and Clary.

Jace chuckled to himself. If only she had said yes....

Since Clary was going to be gone for a while, Jace decided to do some training. You could never practice too much, am I right?

Jace entered the training room and immediately went over to the punching bags. He began punching them as hard as he could, as fast as he could. What must have been 5 minutes later, a voice interrupted him.

"Wow, you really are strong."

Jace turned around, panting, to find a girl he had never seen before. She was about his age, and had long brown hair. Her skin was well tanned and soft, but the most mesmerizing part about her were her eyes. They were almost three different colors. In the middle, brown. Around the edges, blue, and in between those two, green. The colors almost seemed to swirl around, like a whirlpool. Jace suddenly felt the need to stand taller and to cater to her ever wish.

"Come here." She commanded in a voice sweet as honey. Jace couldn't do anything but listen and go to her.

"Good, good." She chuckled. "He was right, you were easy to get." And with that she walked away, Jace trailing after her.

HEY YOU GUYS!!!! So like I said in my last chapter thing, I had this story on hold but now I'm going back and editing old chapters, maybe adding new characters, maybe just fixing grammatical things, but the important thing is I'm back. I added a new little section to the end of this. Before it stopped with clary leaving with Izzy but I added the whole thing with Jace and the mystery girl in the training room. I'm still gonna go back and edit the rest of the chapters so you might want to reread the whole story. Anyways, I hope you guys still what to read this.
