By the time Clary and Izzy were done shopping Izzy had around 10 bags and Clary had around 5. They were on their way home and Clary couldn't wait. While they had been out shopping Jace had texted her and said he had a surprise for her when she got back.
"Earth to Clary!" Izzy shouted, waving a bracleted hand in front of Clary's face.
Clary had completely zoned out thinking about what the surprise could be.
"Sorry, what?" Clary asked.
"I was saying," Izzy continued, clearly annoyed, "Maryse wants to talk to us all when we get back. "
"Why?" Clary asked confused.
Why would Maryse want to talk to all of them? They hadn't done anything bad. Well not yet at least.
Clary decided to text Jace about it.
Hey. ~ C
Hey. When will u b back? ~J
Soon. Did u know Maryse wants to talk to us? ~ C
Yeah. She just came in and told me. ~ J
Do u know y? ~ C
No. It seemed kinda serious tho.
Better come back soon. ~ J
We'll be back in a few minutes.
See u then! ~ C
And with that Clary and Izzy continued on their decent home.
