Clary's next class was core. Core was only half an hour long while the rest of her classes were an hour. The reason being core was supposed to be an enrichment class. Clary's teacher's name was Ms. Casey. Clary immediatley hated her.

"I hate her. "She muttered half way through class.

"What was that? "Jace asked.

"I hate her. "Clary repeated, this time much louder.

A few classmates turned around to glare at her but she didn't care. Jace had just whispered something in her ear.

"Wait, did you say something? "Clary asked, confused.

"I said.... Do you wanna come over tonight after school?" Jace repeated.

"Definatley! "She replied cheerfully.

Clary usually spent most of her time at the Institute anyways (especially nights)but it still felt nice to be invited for a change. It meant Jace still wanted her and hang lost interest. (Not that she expected him to)

"Class you are dismissed. "Ms. Casey announced even though everyone was already half way out the door.

English was pretty fun. Ms. Brown was really nice and let the class read the whole time. Of course Clary loved it but pretty much everyone else hated it. Even Jace. He just watched Clary read while he pretended to. Clary found that a lot of guys were watching her. She didn't know if it was because she was actually reading or they thought she was cute. It was obvious Jace thought they were looking at her because she was pretty, because anyone who so much as glanced at her got the death stare, and Jace's death stare was pretty deadly. It might have actually killed a demon before.

On their way to gym, Lauren came up to them again. It took all of Jace's willpower not to shove her in a locker and lock it.

"Hey Jace. So i was wondering if you wanted to come over tonight. "She said while swinging her hips violently in what was supposed to be a "supermodel walk". Needless to say she looked like a complete idiot.

"Sorry, um, Linda was it? "

"Lauren. "

"Right, Lauren. Sorry but I'm busy tonight. "

"What are you doing? Hanging out with that loser?" She asked, jamming her thumb in Clary's direction.

"No. "He said firmly. "I'm hanging out with my beatiful girlfriend, Clary. "

Clary smiled and laughed as Lauren stalked off with her hands baled into fists.

"Ok so the guys locker room is at the end of that hall. "Clary said, gesturing to a long, bright corridor. "I'll see you in the gym. "

Jace watched as Clary walked off. He couldn't help but let his eyes travel down a bit. She was swaying her hips a little more than usual, but not as vigorously as Lauren had been.

Clary walked into the locker room and quickly got changed into the uniform. A gray baggy shirt that said St. Xavier on it and black, very short, yoga pant sorts. When she finished tying her gray shoes, she jogged out to the gym. She was surprised to find Jace already out there. She had been very quick. Clary was pretty sure Lauren was also in this class, so she hurried over to Jace before she could get there.

"Hey. "She said, wrapping her arms around his chest from behind.

"Hello there, beatiful. "He replied, twisting her around so they were facing each other and his arms were now around her waist. "You look smokin' in that gym uniform. "

Clary just laughed and quickly pecked his lips. Jace bent down and depend the kiss. It lasted for about a minute before Clary pulled away.

"We can finish this tonight, in more detail. "Clary whispered.

The gym teacher, Mr. Dolan, walked in and class began.

Clary plopped down in her seat for science. Ms. Casey, again. Wow did she hate her. The only way she would survive her class would be Jace sitting next to her. They just so happened to be lab partners. Almost all the girls were giving Clary jealous glares. That just made her scoot her chair closer and grab his hand. Jace looked surprised at first when she grabbed his hand but smiled and started rubbing circles with his thumb on her knuckles.

Clary was the first one out the door. She really really hated that class. Next was social studies. Lots of people said the teacher was nice, but some people said she was mean. All she could do was hope for the best.

It turns out Ms. Vitkus was really nice. She made tons of jokes and made it really easy to learn. Clary could tell it was going to be her favorite class. Even better than art. (If that's even possible)

After what seemed like five minutes, it was time to go. Clary and Jace hopped on the bus and sat down in one of the last empty seats.

"I cant wait until tonight. "Jace whispered into Clary's ear with his signature smirk.

"Gross you guys. Save it for later. There's people around. "Izzy half shouted half screamed at them.

She and Simon had just gotten on the bus, but Alec was nowhere to be seen. As if Jace could read her mind, he said, "hey, where's Alec? Don't tell me you left him. "

"Of course not." Izzy scoffed. "He told me to leave him. Magnus stopped by and said he would drive him home. "

Jace visibly relaxed some and immersed himself in his conversation with Clary, looking forward to tonight.
