Clary woke up the next morning and realized she still had to go to school. Hastily she removed herself from Jace's arms and got dressed. Nothing fancy today, just an old hoodie and leggings with her new floral Vans. She had bought them recently with Izzy. They were pretty comftorable, actually.

Just as Clary finished tying her laces, she heard Jace wake up.

"Uugghh. It's too bright in here! "He moaned while covering his face with his hands.

"At have school and if you don't get up you're going to be late and I'll leave without you!" Clary shouted across the room. Within seconds, Jace was out of bed and pulling a clean shirt on. He began to walk out the door, but Clary stopped him.

"Ewww" Clary squealed, "Aren't you going to change your pants? " Jace looked down at his pants then back up at Clary.

"What do you mean? " He questioned.

"I mean, you just wore those pants yesterday, then slept in them, and now you want to wear them to school. "Clary let out an exasperated sigh.

Jace smirked and walked over to the dresser. He grabbed a clean pair of pants and threw them on the bed. He then began to remove his own pants, laughing the whole time. Clary's face turned red and she tried to turn away as Jace was left in only his boxers but her head didn't move. She stood there, staring.

"Like what you see? "He taunted, gesturing to his lower areas.

"Just get dressed and meet me downstairs. "Clary replied shortly. Before she could even turn around to leave, Jace's arms were wrapped around her torso tightly.

"But I'd rather do this. "Jace whispered. He twisted her body around so their chests were touching and their faces are inches apart. Slowly, Jace brought his face to Clary's. She knew they should really be leaving, but she didn't care. All that mattered was Jace and his lips. His glorious, smooth, soft lips.

"We have to go now."Jace said softly, " To be continued? " (Looking For Alaska quote )

Clary reluctantly pulled away and headed towards the door after checking in the mirror. In the kitchen she grabbed a tiny apple and climbed into Jace's car. He put the key in the ignition and they were off. Clary hadn't wanted to take the bus today, so Jace drove her, being the nice fiance that he was.

In no time at all they were at school. Jace pulled into a parking spot next to a bright purple car that looked familiar.

"Hey Jace! That's Percy's car! "Clary exclaimed. Jace didn't understand why she seemed so excited by that. Clary hurried into the doors. They were 20 minutes early. How had they managed to get here so early when they left so late?

"Yo Jace! " Somebody called from down the hallway. Jace immediatley recognized it as Ezra.

"Yo! "He answered back. 'Yo' was their signature greeting for each other. Every time they saw each other, they said that. He could tell it annoyed Clary, but at the moment he didn't care. He was still a little mad at her for the whole Percy thing. As if on cue, Percy came walking down the hall, waving to Clary, who waved back.

The bell rang, signaling the time to go to lockers had come. Jace walked with Clary to her locker. He stood with her, talking, until the warning bell rang and Jace had to go. He gave her a quick peck on the lips and left. Clary thought she saw something flash in the cornet of her vision, but quickly dismissed it and went to class. Today was gonna be a long day.
