City Of Clace Chapter 14

Soon it was time for gym. Clary liked gym for the most part. The only thing she didn't like was dodgeball. Lots of kids loved dodgeball, but Clary didn't. She didn't know why. It wasn't that she was bad at it, in fact, she was probably the best person in the class but the concept was boring to her.

Clary unlocked her tiny gym locker and grabbed her clothes. A dark blue v-neck shirt with short, black volleyball shorts that hugged her nonexistent curves. After she tied her gray nikes she headed out to the gym. She looked to see if Jace was already out. She saw Will was there. She was about to go over and say hi when she saw Jace. He saw her and walked towards her. In a few steps he crossed the space in between them and stopped so their bodies were just inches from each other. Clary could barley hold herself back from pressing her body up against his and kissing him.

"Hi. "She said a little breathlessly.

"Hey. "Jace replied smoothly.

Just then the gym teacher, Mr. Dolan, walked up to Clary.

"Um, excuse me. "He said clearing his throat. "Clary, I'd like you to be had cheerleader this year and i need you to come with me and do tryouts. They'll be during gym class. "

"Ok. "Clary answered like it was no big deal she had just randomly been selected to be head cheerleader.

As Clary walked off she could feel Jace's eyes on her, but she knew exactly where he was looking. She whipped around and caught him red handed. His face turned red but he didn't look away. As Clary continued to walk she could tell he was staring again. She sighed.

Try outs went pretty good. Of course Lauren tried out. Clary had to admit, she was pretty good, and she made the team. So did about 12 other girls that Clary didn't know. Try outs were over before the end of gym and Clary joined in on the last activity, the mile run. For Clary and Jace that was easy. They ran together the whole way, constantly taking to each other. In 4 minutes they were done. Will finished next, surprisingly fast for a mundane. Clary got that weird feeling in her stomach again when she looked at him. She pushed it away and focused on Jace. His lips were so perfect, she just wanted to kiss them so badly. Before she knew what she was doing, her lips were pressed against his and her hands were in his hair. Jace was missing back forcefully. They stayed like that until Mr. Dolan finally came up and told them they need to stop or else he would have to give them both detentions and call their parents to tell them what they were doing. Jocelyn would definatley not approve of Clary making out with Jace. Clary waffled into the locker room to change, still thinking about kissing Jace.

"Are you and Jace like, dating or something? " Lauren asked walking up to Clary.

"Um.... Ya. Isn't it kinda obvious? I mean we spend pretty much every minute with each other and we were just kissing. "Clary just said that last part about the kissing to get net mad, and it worked.

She stormed off with a very frustrated look on her face. Clary just chuckled and left for science with Ms. Casey. So much fun. (Btw if you didnt catch that, that was sarcasm)
