Core was as boring as ever. They were learning about sea turtles, which Clary didn't really care about. So far the only thing they had done the whole week was watch a documentary on logger head turtles and how they die. Kinda depressing. And Ms. Casey was the worst teacher ever. The only way Clary survived was Jace. They usually just talked the whole time. It was actually kinda fun. The bell rang and Clary gathered her things. Jace grabbed her free hand and they walked down the hall to room 116, English.

Usually Clary liked English. She never got in trouble for reading during class, but today it was pure torture. She has forgotten they had a test. It was a pretty big one, too. Jace ended up giving her some of the answers, not so sneakily. They almost got caught twice. It was really kinda funny if you thought about it. Once she finished the test she read. She was currently reading a book called 13 reasons why, by Jay Asher. She loved it. It was one of the best books she had ever read and she was only half way through it. Clary was so caught up in the book, she didn't hear the bell ring. Jace waited for her to get get stuff so they could go to gym.

"See you in the gym! "Clary called after Jace as she turned down the hall to the girls locker room. Once she finished changing she decided to wait for Izzy. Of course Izzy took forever to change. When she finally did, they walked out together. Clary was surprised to see Jace and Simon talking to each other while they waited. Jace looked relieved when Clary and Izzy arrived.

"Yo, Jace! "Called a familiar voice. It was Ezra. Clary didn't know he was in their gym class.

"Yo! "Jace answered. They did that same weird hug/handshake thing except this time it looked right because Clary wasnt sitting on Jace's lap.
Clary had no idea why they always felt the need to shout yo, but they always did.

"Hey Clary, Simon, Isabelle." He said, nodding towards them.

"Hi. "Clary answered meekly. She was still kind of shy around Ezra. She just had to get used to him.

Mr. Dolan stomped in, blowing his whistle.

"Today class, we are going to be starting our weight room unit. Follow me." A chorus of groans erupted from the class. Apparently weight room was not a popular unit. Mr. Dolan walked into the boys locker room. All the girls paused outside the entrance, not sure if they were supposed to follow or not, while ask the guys barreled past them.

"Come on, ladies! "Mr. Dolan yelled. They all walked in, cautiously. When they reached the weight room, Clary found out it smelled terrible, like sweat and bad breath. Jace and Ezra seemed immune to it, while Clary covered her nose with her sleeve.

"What's wrong? "Jace asked, laughing at Clary's disgusted face.

"It smells! "She practically shouted.

"You get used to it. "Ezra said with a wink.

Mr. Dolan began going through all the stations and what you hac to do at each of them. He told everyone to get in groups of 3 and pick a station to start at. Of course Clary, Ezra, and Jace were all in the same group. Izzy and Simon were in their own group. Clary, Jace, and Ezra started at the treadmills.

After 45 minutes of weight room, gym was over and Clary and Izzy went to go change. It only took Clary about 3 minutes whereas it took Izzy about 5. Finally they were both done and they went their seperate ways to their next class. For Clary and Jace that was science, but for Izzy it was English.
Clary groaned as they walked in and began a lesson on cells. She just wanted to curl up with Jace and go to bed.
