It's ironic how people make decisions for us without ever asking what we really wanted in the first place. How they want us to be safe and secured, but instead trap us in their tray of expectations. How they tell us to look better but never ask what makes us uncomfortable. How they show dismay at every failure we encounter but never show appreciation for our accomplishments. It's ironic how love can feel suffocating. Now, I wonder how people can be so cruel to others they care about.
