"Hey Maddy, why are you pulling a face at me, it's as if you've seen a ghost." Jamie said. Well of course I was I mean, I saw him lifeless on the bed with blood, he was dead! I couldn't lose focus with 13 people staring at us, but I can't understand why he's alive? I just went along with it, " Haha funny joke Jamie, but no, it seemed that our 'trick' had them all fooled. Good job little girl." I winked at her and smiled. As a response she put her thumbs up towards my direction and laughed. Her parents were still suffering from shock and surprise but they were glad their daughter is safe.

After they left, everyone continued their playing and chatter, it was as if nothing happened. I turned around expecting Jamie to be there but he was no where to be seen. Something was going on around here and I didn't have a good feeling about it. I had to go somewhere quiet, to see what was happening to me, I couldn't have powers or something like that, it doesn't exist, it's not real.

I went to the nearby town to see any apartments for sale, this morning while I was walking away from Jamie's cabin I went to the nearby bank and I was randomly given a card that held over £200,000 it was bizarre but for desperate times and desperate measures I wasn't going to deny the offer. As I was saying, I looked for any particular places that would suit me to live in. I had found one where it was fairly small, a good size for me considering it was only for me, it was really posh looking and looked really modernised and expensive. I looked at the pricing and it was a reasonable price. I gathered the courage and walked into the building and sat down to talk terms for buying the apartment. Once it was over I had then officially signed the documents and finally had the legal documents to my new home.

I then whistled for a taxi like I had seen in movies, thinking it would happen in reality, no taxi stopped making me look like a fool of myself. I saw a lady step out of a taxi beside me and rushed towards it hoping to catch a ride. I stepped into the taxi and told him the address I needed to go to. Twenty minutes later I arrived in front of a tall building which had around 24 floors, the sight was magnificent.

I nervously walked inside, past the glass doors and went to the front reception. There stood a brown haired lady, she reminded me of my mother, in fact she looked almost exactly like my mother... I walked up towards her and asked if I could collect my keys to the apartment. The lady stood there, with a shock expression on her face, why was she shocked? "Ma'am? Are you okay? You look like as if you've seen a ghost?" I said with a concerned voice. She then snapped back into reality and gave a wide smile, I smiled back nervously with what her reaction was like just a few moments ago.

"Do you not remember me?" The woman replied, "Uh.. no miss, sorry I don't, may I ask who you are?" "Oh! Yes, well I didn't think you would considering you were around 8 at the time haha! Well I was your best friends mother, you used to play with each other continuously, as if you we inseparable, well until we had to move away sadly due to his fathers deployment. Ring any bells?" She beams.
