I just hugged him. It was a rather non-thought through decision, but non the less a good one.
We stayed like that for a while, just embracing each other. After we pulled apart I finished my cigarette.

The day went on normally afterwards. I finished my classes and waited in the hallway for Clay to finish. Once I heard the bell. People started flooding the halls. Through the crowd I saw a tall blonde male and went to him. He was not alone, Sapnap was with him.

"Oh, hi George. We were planning on getting lunch you want to join?"

Asked Sapnap. After the question I couldn't help but notice how Clay looked at me with hope.

"Yeah, sure!"

Minutes later we were in Clay's car. As we drove I felt really nervous. I need to hide my eating habits as much as I can, luckily I did that most of my life.

We got to a diner that was about 10 minutes from the school. We sat on a table right next to a window. Sapnap was telling stories from his childhood adventures with Clay and I just listened.

"Do you have any fun stories George?"

"No not really. When I was a child I pretty much was alone. Except for my cat that would always lay on me. He was an amazing cat, he died a couple of years back."

"What was his name?"

"Cat. I named my cat Cat."

Both Sapnap amd Clay bursted out laughing. I don't get why the name is so funny to them, but I just let them enjoy themselves.

After a bit a waiter came to the table with the menus. The waiter looked really nice. He had jet black hair and green eyes. His eyes were so pretty. To be fair he reminded me of a cat.
I looked down to see his name tag.

Carter

He looked at me and I smiled.

"Hi my name is Carter and today I am gonna be your server."

He said happily. His voice was graspy and deep. For some reason it was calming in a way.

"Would you like to get started with drinks?"

He didn't move his eyes from mine. Every time I looked at him, he was still staring at me. I blushed.

"Yeah, can I get a glass of water."

I said casually. I couldn't let him see the panic I was in.

"I like your accent. And for you guys?"

Sapnap ordered a chocolate milkshake and Clay ordered a coke.

Minutes later he came back with our drinks and asked for our order.

Oh shit I forgot. Ok salad should be fine. It's the thing with the least calories.

I ordered a green salad and the boys ordered cheeseburgers.

The two kept a conversation going. I mainly remained silent, sometimes adding a comment and stating my opinion.

After a bit our food came out. So i started eating. Clay kept glancing over, not knowing I was aware of his action. This tho, only made it worse.

I ate half of the salad when I decided I couldn't take it anymore. I excused myself and grabbed my coat and a pack of cigarettes.
I went out and went into the small alley next to the dinner. I lit up a cigarette and started smocking, calming my nerves. After a minute I heard something behind me and I turned just then I spotted the person leaned against the wall.

"Hello?"

The person stood up and only then did I recognize the tall figure. He himself had a cigare between his fingers.

"Oh, hey! I don't think we introduced ourselves. I am Carter."

He stretched his hand forward.

"I am George."

"Well nice to meet you George."
