Togami Byakuya and Kayama Leah. Well, technically, she was Togami Leah, but she had wanted people to keep using Kayama; only a handful of people used 'Togami' as her surname. Basically, enemies to lovers. The man himself had proposed to Kayama a year or so ago, and they'd gotten married only a couple months ago.

Togami was constantly nagging Kayama to hire a maid, since she had the ability to talk to people. Kayama said she was fine doing all of the work, but it would be nice if he pitched in once in a while. He would tell her, "But wouldn't it be nice to have someone do your job for you?" And she always gave him a smile and shook her head.

Only 23 years old. The two had been in love since they were seventeen. It felt like forever for them.

Kayama walked out into the kitchen as their servant, Airi, walked in.

Kayama: Good morning, to both of you lovelies!

Kayama reached up higher and placed a kiss on Togami's cheek.

Togami: Leah, please stay out of this for right now. I love you, but I need to speak with 'Miss Late Face' over here.

Kayama: Well, that would be fine, but if something happened, it would be completely out of her control. C'mon Byakuya, have some human decency.

Airi: Thank you, Miss.

Kayama: No need! Someone didn't do their homework."

Kayama nudged Togami's elbow with hers.

Kayama: Well, I have my weekly meeting with Asahina to get to.

Togami: You still hang out with her?

Kayama: Yes, I do. Anyways, I'll see you lovelies later!

Kayama plastered one more small kiss on Togami's lips and gave Airi a warm smile.

Togami sat in the mansion's library, reading one of his favorite books. He shut the book when he heard the clack of Kayama's shoes. She burst through the door, and gave Togami one of her, 'I'm home' hugs.

Togami: I never understood why you do what you do.

Kayama: What? My 'I'm home' gestures?

Togami: Yeah.

Kayama: We figured out a long time ago that touch is a main love language. As touch starved children, it should be obvious. Plus, I like how you smell.

Togami: Vanilla?

Kayama: Vanilla. Never knew why, never will know. You also need to stop sitting in this library, you're eventually gonna swap scents.

Togami let out a small laugh.

Togami: Leah, I like it in here. This is kinda my place.

Kayama: Oh yeah? Well then why don't you just divorce your faithful wife and marry the library?

Togami: I don't love it that much. Honestly, I'm not sure what else I currently love, or have in the past, more than you.

Kayama: You stated those exact words at least a week after we started dating.

Togami: Wow, miss perfect memory.

Kayama: You're just jealous because you can hardly remember what we had for dinner last night.

The easiest way to put it was — Togami didn't have memory loss — he just sucked at remembering things.

Kayama hugged him one more time before grabbing the book she was reading and plopping down in the chair Togami was sitting in.

Togami: You know that's my spot, L. Go find yours.

When Togami was in a joking mood, he called Kayama by her nickname; L. She had been using that nickname long before even Hope's Peak. Again, only a handful of people were simply allowed to call her L.

Kayama didn't move out of Togami's spot.

Kayama: And what if I didn't move?

Kayama saw it coming. Even though Togami looked like a stick, he was pretty strong. Effortlessly, he picked Kayama up out of the chair like she was a five year old, and placed her on his back, running around the library. Kayama loved when this happened; it felt to her as if Togami was happier than he usually was around her.
