The last moments of your terrified cry of his name lingered in Loki's consciousness as he sank to his knees.
Explosive wrath energised his muscles and compelled him to get up and charge. His hands extended, and within a second, he had Odin's throat in his grasp. The force of his fury pushed his father against the wall.
Loki stared Odin in the eye as he tightened the grip, "You did this, you pathetic old man!" His voice was filled with hateful malice.
"Stop, Loki!" Begging, Thor grabbed his brother by the shoulders and tried to pry him away from Odin.
Rage gave Loki incredible strength, and even when pulling with all his might, Thor still battled to separate him from Odin. Desperate, he glances over at Huggin and signals for his help.
Huggin hurried to Thor's aid, but Odin was left struggling for air as he used both hands to grasp at Loki's single hand around his throat.
As Odin's eye begins to wet and glaze over, Loki is able to catch a glimpse of himself in the reflection. He took pleasure in viewing his own condescending grin within it, pleased that Odin's expression of horror at the sight of his unholy evil was well justified.
"I could snap your neck father, you could meet an end by my hands right here. No royal burial for you either. The buzzards will pick at your rotting corpse after I impale it on Gungnir, the spear that so recklessly cost me Mina's rescue" It was clear from Loki's tone that he meant every word of his ominous threat, which made it all the more terrifying.
Thor and Huggin pulled harder after hearing his shocking threat, but we're only able to shift him slightly. Thor quickly beckons guards who all rush over to help detach Loki from Odin. Loki cackles menacingly as he's finally moved but Odin was yanked down to the ground as Loki was finally pulled away, Loki only releasing his fingers after Odin tumbles to his knees.
After hearing his alarming warning, Thor and Huggin pulled harder, but we were only able to move him an inch. Guards respond immediately to Thor's signal and hurry over to assist.
Loki chuckles ominously when he is finally pulled away, a smirk resting on his face when Odin is yanked to the ground in the process. His dark, mischievous eyes peer down at his kneeling father, who coughs and sputters as he tries to catch his breath.
Loki laughs aloud, "That is a good look for you, Odin—on your knees before me. Your neck is adorned not with gold but with my clearly visible finger prints—bruised truly is your color."
Thor let go of Loki and raced to his father, picking him up off the ground.
"No longer on my side brother? You said you would support me in my plan. I see that was just empty words judging by your actions moments ago" Loki has turned his wrath towards Thor.
Thor looks at Loki hurt, "I believed your strategy was to fight—a rebellion—brothers battling together. Not a sacrifice Loki! I could never support your death! I will die for you, or die together fighting if that was the plan. But I could never let your end be by your own blade—father was wrong, but so were you. You were wrong to give up on Mina"
The mere mention of your name brought Loki to a crushing paralyses of sadness, and as his rage subsided, he whispered your name, remembering your beautiful face with startling clarity. That one he memorised a few moments ago.
All of his feelings—anger, grief, and fear—came out in the form of tears, leaving his eyes red and watery.
Loki, sobbing uncontrollably, begs, "Help me get her back brother"
Thor witnessed Loki's transformation from a mighty, angered god to a helpless child, withdrawn within himself out of despair and abandonment. He was once again the abused boy pitted against Munnin by himself. He recalled how Loki fought alone back then, with no protection, and no one to save him.
