"Tell me why you couldn't just carry us and fly across the vines instead of trekking through this death trap Huggin!" Thor says exhausted, cutting yet another vine that has coiled around his leg.

Huggin tried to hold back a laugh "I have a maximum weight limit, you alone exceed that Thor"

Thor shrieks as he feels a vine travel up his leg..

"I thought you like snakes, these are just like snakes, they slither and move just like one" Loki says amused

"No Loki, they're nothing like snakes. Snakes give me kisses, well Meddies do but they also coil around me affectionately. These wrap around wanting to drain the life from me and consume my body. I'd say that's a big different Brother!" Thor now sounding irritated.

"Well then keep up Thor, they only go after you because you're so slow. I told you, you need to walk more. You've become lazy!" Loki says while he walks calmly through the forest, not phased by the vines.

"No they go after me because I'm the only one they can eat. Huggin takes flight the majority of time, and you... well you have taken your Jotun form, they scatter away from you as you walk. Not wishing to touch your icy skin!" Thor says exasperated

Loki scoffs "Do I sense a bit of jealousy Thor? Envious of my Jotun form are you?" Loki now smirking

"At this moment yes, yes I am!"

Loki laughs.. "just walk directly behind me brother.. the path will still be clear as I take new steps"

Thor quickly moved behind Loki, walking in his previous footsteps. Loki was right, he could now walk freely without the vines trying to consume him.

Thor picks up a stick and throws it at Loki..

"Ouch! Why did you do that for?!" Loki says rubbing his head

"You let me walk for two hours fighting the vines, cutting my legs on their thorns when you had the solution all along!"

Loki smirks, deciding not to retaliate against Thor.. he did make him suffer the last two hours.

Thor and Huggin were talking when Loki suddenly stopped. "Sssh....I thought I heard something"

They all stop, frozen in place. They open their ears as they listen. They listen intently but all they hear is rustling of the vines moving beneath their feet.

They carry on walking ahead. "What did you think you heard Loki? Huggin said.

"I thought I heard the word peaches"

Thor laughs "you must be hungry"

"Hmmm" Loki says

The time passes slowly as they trek. Not yet finding the clearing as Odin described. They're still surrounded by forest.

Suddenly Loki motions for them to stop once again. Lifting his finger up to his lips, signalling them to be quiet.

They listen once again. Suddenly they hear a deathly scream that echoes through the trees.
Lokis heart began to thump, his chest heaving as dread filled his entire body.

"Mina!" he said in a panic, his feet suddenly sprinting forward not caring that he leaves Thor or Huggin behind.

He runs frantically in all directions following to where the sound came from.

He's been running for a while, finally stopping to catch his breath.
He looks around and doesn't see Thor or Huggin anymore. He calls out to them but gets no response.

He decides to continue walking, hoping Thor catches up to him.

Suddenly he see's something big move with tremendous speed from side eyes.
He spins around and looks to see, but whatever it was has left at the speed of light.
