Fenrir was indeed quick, his speed reached a new record. He was worried the velocity of his speed would knock you from his back, but Thor helped remedy that problem.

Thor gripped you tight, pinning his body against yours, both of you leaning low into Fenrir's fur. The magic of Thor's hammer which was safely strapped on his back meant it weighed you both down.

You instructed Fenrir to go faster, and in no time you were back at Asgard Palace.

Thor lifted his heavy body off you, you felt your bones click back in place as you hobbled down from Fenrir.

"Sorry, I no I'm heavy" Thor said as he heard the creak of your bones.

"Your idea got us here faster, the aches and pains are worth it"

You both split up, checking within the palace for Loki. Thor inspected the throne room, and enquired if Loki was sent somewhere by Odin.

You looked in the obvious places, the library, and bedroom being the first rooms to check.

Your gut instinct told you, you wouldn't find him there. You knew where he was, yet you were apprehensive to go.

If your theory was correct, it means you will see Munnin again very soon. Your stomach lurched at the thought. You stopped in place, holding your sides as sudden nausea hit you.

'Are you okay mother?' a concerned Fenrir asks

"I'm okay Pup"

You walk outside and into the garden. It was dark except for a few lanterns that highlighted the path.

You ventured from the path, to the west side of the palace. The area still in ruin, neglected and run down from a previous invasion.

You couldn't see much, your surroundings covered in complete darkness. You were thankful Fenrir was with you, as your fear of the dark was heightened when coupled with your concern for Loki.

You stepped with caution, trying to avoid the sharp broken stones that lay on the overgrown grass.

You came to the thorny brambles, and thick hedge, you knew behind it was the hidden door.

You waited for a few minutes hoping Thor would arrive soon, fidgeting with your hands, growing impatient.

You couldn't wait any longer, you felt the urge to get going and find Loki.

"Fenrir, you can't pass through the thick vines, wait here and if Thor arrives tell him the door is just past the hedge. I'm going alone."

'But it's dark, you don't like the dark' Fenrir points out your fear hoping you would stay. He doesn't want you to go alone.

"I've come prepared Pup" you say as you tap on the handheld torch, it flickered a few times before a steady beam of light flowed.

You were grateful Loki included your torch when he brought back some of your most favourite possessions. You smile when you think of his thoughtfulness, he knew you grew attached to the torch even if you were trying so hard to overcome your fear of the dark.

You crouched, going through the opening of the hedge. You pointed the light downwards making it easier for you to avoid the thorny vines that tangle around rocks.

You come to the clearing, your yellow beam making the golden doorknob glint. Sudden apprehension balls in the pit of your stomach, you take a deep breath before twisting the handle, opening the door.

You haven't enough courage to fully step through the threshold even with the torch. You lean your head through the doorway, not wanting your body to cross over just yet.
