You stopped with Fenrir and rested for the night, Fenrir having jet black fur allowed him to camouflage well within the dark night.

He reassured you when he saw you were unable to sleep from fear of another attack. Your body found comfort within his fur, your mind at ease listening to his voice in your head. It didn't take long for your exhausted body to fall asleep.

You awoke to morning light, ready to start your journey but Fenrir heard your stomach growl.

He guided you to a bush full with ripe juicy berries to eat. Once satisfied and full you positioned yourself on Fenrir.

As you idly lay on your back, resting within Fenrir's fur you gaze up at the morning light.
You raise your hand and trace the outline of the clouds with your finger.

You smile feeling content, the semi decent sleep allowing you to think more clearly. You finally feel eased albeit still in pain. Lottie's pain medication now wore off and out of your system.

'Look, there's Asgard Palace' Fenrir alerts you

You slowly roll your body on your stomach, and sit up. Your cracked rib and whipped back makes moving fast difficult.

Sure enough, there in the distance is the towering Palace. The pointed features glinting when the sunlight hits it.

"We're not far away, we'll be there in no time" you say excited.

Your stomach flutters knowing you'll be reunited with Loki soon. But it also twists in knots knowing another challenge will soon arise. Odin...does he still disapprove of you?

"Remember what I said Fenrir, let's go in peaceful, let's not start a battle"

You and Fenrir had talked about Odin last night, you listened as he opened up about his feelings for Odin.

He blames Odin for his cruel treatment by Grayah. If Odin didn't lock him away next to her he would never have been tormented and abused all these years.
He couldn't help but feel rage and fury towards Odin because of his cowardice betrayal. Locked away because he feared the unknown.

Vengeance kept Fenrir strong, believing that one day he would escape and get his revenge. His days were spent imagining the sweet day he confronted Odin. It gave him a will to survive.

Yet since he met you, since he gained a friend, a mother. All that pent up anger subsided.

All he wants now is to be with you, to reside with you. If that means he has to cooperate and be neutral with Odin he agreed to do so.

'But should he start a war I will gladly oblige' Fenrir says confidently

"He will surely want to listen to reason, you can easily destroy him and his army Pup. But I will be the first to meet you on the battlefield should he be so foolish to start a war" you say with a cheeky grin

'I no Mother' Fenrir's heart begins to swell, he believed you entirely.

You daze ahead, your mind lost in memories of you and Loki. You're trying to remember how it was between you both before you finally meet him again.

It feels like it's been years since you last met. You were nervous. Scared to let him see you in this battered state.

Suddenly an ache come over your chest, your heart started to hurt as a sense of dread filled your entire soul. You felt like your body was being engulfed by an ominous presence. Fear gripped you as your heart began to race.

You barely get a chance to alert Fenrir when you hear a squawk from above you.

You quickly look up and see large talons come crashing downwards aiming at you. You scream, ducking your head.
