"I can get you to Asgard faster. Over the years we have upgraded the ships components" Rovi said, noticing Loki commanding a few of his closest soldiers to ready a vessel.

You looked at Loki with imploring eyes and after a momentary pause, he nodded in agreement.

"That would be most helpful Commander Rovi" Loki said, offering a grateful smile.

Rovi clasped his large Orc hand on Loki's shoulder feeling pleased "Just call me Rovi" he grinned "and I'll call you Loki."

Loki arched a brow. "Technically, as you and your people will be taking up residence for a duration in Jotunheim, I think the correct term I should be referred to as is king Loki—As all those who call this place home acknowledge me as their king."

"Home?" Rovi repeated, tearful.

Loki's brows raised seeing Rovi's emotional expression. And after a brief moment of feeling, the two of them exchanged awkward looks.

Rovi quickly morphed his face back into a steely expression and cleared his throat to then sharply ask, "Are we really going to start a lengthy debate on what I call you, Loki?" he wiped any evidence of tears from his eyes.

Loki concealed his small smile, thankful Rovi broke the awkwardness and went back to being hostile, "Perhaps the debate can wait until another time then." Loki said, dismissing a perfect opportunity to taunt and ridicule Rovi. And he wasn't sure why.

Loki questioned your decision to bring along two particular Jotun soldiers as he was still reeling from their previous insolence. But you had complete faith in Moder and Skargg, and if anything, you enjoyed watching their silly arguments.

While Rovi turned on the engines, Loki extended his hand and assisted you aboard the ship, quickly strapping you in.

"Okay, I'm fastened in. Hand me William, Loki." You hold out your arms.

Loki handed you his son after carefully removing him from the harness around his chest. You grin as you observe Will yawning and stretching his small arms, enchanted by your son's cuteness. You gently cradle him in your arms, giving him a light kiss on the forehead as you rock him back to sleep.

Loki was still hovering over you when you looked up, his besotted eyes gazing down at you as he took in the wonderful bond you shared with Will.

He returns the smile you gave him before turning to face Rovi and hollering out, "Rovi, drive this ship with careful precision. You have never had such valuable cargo, and my entire world is onboard."

"You have my word, my king," Rovi replied automatically, and once again Loki was reduced to a state of complete surprise.

Rovi, also stunned, purposely avoided Loki's gaze after realising what he had just blurted out, unwittingly creating another awkward moment.

You grab Loki's hand and pull his body down, placing a loving kiss on his lips. "Strap yourself in my love. You too are precious and need to be kept safe."

He smiled before planting a soft kiss on your forehead then sheepishly took the seat next to Rovi, directing him through the correct route out of Jotunheim.

Your heart bloomed as you watched them make small talk throughout the voyage, witnessing the beginnings of their friendship form. You knew deep down Loki was happy that he could offer the Orcs a chance of a better future.

You mentally added Rovi to the list of trusted friends, knowing he would soon regard you and Loki as family.

You arrived in Asgard quickly and safely, just as Rovi had promised. When you reached the palace steps, you were welcomed by Queen Frigga and Thor, who's surprised expressions revealed joy at your return but also concern at spotting an Orc straggle closely behind you.
