"Guard! where's Mina? Where's Thor?" Loki asks sitting up on his bed.

He woke from his sleep, his mind a little more coherent now the pain had subsided. Yet he knew this was just a short window of being pain free.

Seeing neither you or Thor made him suspicious, and full of worry. His mind plaguing him with accusatory thoughts.

He felt agitated, he knew this was the best he'll ever be, the perfect time to swear your vows and marry you.

He tried his best to push aside his jealousy, instead convincing himself that you not being there was harmless, you're likely with Fenrir.

Thor instructed a guard to watch over Loki while he left to find you. He grew concerned when you didn't come back.

The guard cleared his throat before replying to Loki "Prince Thor is in search of Princess Mina"

"What do you mean in search? Is she missing? what's happened!?" Loki's voice grew louder the more worried he got.

The guard shuffled nervously, unable to reply. He simply didn't have an answer. His duty was to guard Loki only, no other information was shared.

"Well don't just stand there, go find them, I need answers! I have very little time before another wave of pain hits me" he instructs sternly

"I'm sorry, my orders are to remain within the confides of this room. I'm unable to leave my Prince" the guard says feeling anxious, he fears refusing Loki's command comes with a backlash.

Loki clenches his jaw, standing from the bed, he struts towards the guard until he reaches the extent of his chains. The guard took two steps back when Loki got too close for comfort.

Loki snickers, an evilness engulfing his features. "Do I scare you guard?"

The guard averted his eyes, but remained in a strong stance. Gripping his spear nervously.

"What? have Odin got your tongue?" He laughs at the guard who remains motionless with pursed lips.

"Then instruct the guard outside the door to find Thor, now!" His order heard loud and clear.

The guard opened the door and did as Loki requested. Loki watched as three guards made haste down the hall to look for Thor.

Loki retreated back to the bed, keeping a stern face, trying his best to hide his worry for you.

He notices your pebble laying in the middle of the bed, he smiles when he remembers you scorning him for not keeping hold of it.

Loki climbed onto the mattress, and picked up the pebble. He laid down and held it up in front of him, finally studying it more closely.

He observed the fine cracks that patterned it's surface, only now realising how unusual it really is.

It had no weight to it, feeling light as feather when held. He wondered where you got such a strange oddity.

He sat up suddenly, his face grave as he listened to the many voices inside his head. The other personalities within his mind screaming, all frightened as the dark cloud moved into his mind ready to erase another part of him.

"No! Please not now!" Loki yells out loud.

The guard observes him talking to himself, seeing his face suddenly pale.

Loki battles with his mind, willing his mind to stay strong, to fight the billowing dark mass that's engulfing his entire mind, sifting through each persona to find the next weakest link.
