You didn't worry about bumping into Loki this time, as judging by the way he stormed off in a huff you knew he was likely in the library, wallowing in self pity, his nose in a book.

When he didn't get what he wanted he either got enraged or he sulked. This was a pouty moment, he was certainly sulking.

You went to the familiar depths of the palace and reached Munnin once again. Immediately you furrowed your brows in annoyance as you peaked through the glass confides.

"You didn't tidy up like I requested!" you scold, still behind the barrier. Not yet wanting to step inside.

Munnin snapped his head up from his slouched position and grinned wide as soon as he saw you.

A very odd feeling overcame you. It was strange, you felt no disgust, or repulsion. You were glad he was smiling.

Was Odin right, did you truly forgive him?

If I do, it don't mean I like him, I  just tolerate him a bit more.

Yeh..

Munnin slid his chair back, the screech of the legs against the floor pierced your ear drums, causing you to scrunch your face.

He saw your pained expression and immediately apologised as he walked towards the glass.

He peered down at you "Can you come in? please" he pleads.

"Should a princess enter such a mess Hmm?"

Munnin looked around his cell, seemingly only now recognising that it was a pig sty.

"I'm sorry, let me quickly tidy. I will be just a moment" he says, madly scrambling around, picking up strewn papers from the floor.

You watch him amused as he went to work making his cell more presentable for you.

You enter his confinement while he was busy putting a chair back the right way. He stopped in his tracks and stared at you when he saw you making his bed.

"You don't have to do that Pepper" he says, ashamed.

You fluff his pillow, and finish tucking in his sheet before turning to him.

"You know what, I think I prefer the name Peaches. I'm much more sweet than fiery, don't you think?"

His mouth gaped open, looking at you bewildered.

"Call me Peaches from now Munnin" You instruct, walking over to the table and pulling out a chair.

It doesn't hurt to butter him up a bit, keep him wrapped around your little finger. He'll answer questions easier that way.

"May I sit?" you ask.

He excitably nodded, gesturing his hand to the seat opposite him.

You sat down and copied his action, gesturing for him to sit also.

Munnin happily obliged, never stopping his wide beam at you.

"So, I hear you were a bit uncontrolled down here. Causing a fuss with the guards while I was away"

His smile immediately faded. "I wanted to behave, I promised you I would, but I had a reason. You were gone and no one kept me updated. Where was Huggin?!" He said with slight annoyance.

"The water nymph was more of a handful than imagined. All of us were lucky to escape alive. Well except Thor" You laugh. Yet immediately regretted the morbid giggle. You did almost die... again.

"Well thank the Gods you survived"

"Don't forget Loki and Huggin. Thank the Gods for them too" You say.
