You wake up tangled within Fenrir's fur, you brush his hair from your face and give him a big hug, squeezing him tight.

You hear him let out a sleepy content moan, his usual response to your hugs. Similar to a cats purr when they're happy.

After last night, you couldn't bare to leave Fenrir's side. He couldn't fit in Loki's chambers so Loki suggested the library instead.

The library doors were large double doors that opened wide, allowing Fenrir to squeeze through.

Loki and you settled for the night within Fenrir's embrace. You were all exhausted after the fateful event that you fell asleep within moments of cuddling together.

You stretched your body wide as you see morning light shine through the window of the library.
You look over to Loki, who like Fenrir is still in a deep sleep.

You watch him, studying his features. His pale skin still showing dark circles under his eyes, he looked drawn in. You realise he's still under a lot of worry and distress and make a point to comfort him, letting him feel that you're okay.

You lean over and plant the lightest kiss on his lips. His eyes twitch while still asleep, you smile wondering what dream he's having.

You knew today was going to involve a lot of talking. Odin heard from Thor what had happened. He was mostly concerned that you were able to lift the hammer.

He wished to speak with you immediately, but Loki refused until you rested. Everyone was in need of much needed rest, and Thor and Huggin needed healing.

Loki apologised to his brother and offered to heal his face, which Thor gladly accepted. He was looking almost as good as before, except for a tiny scar above his eyebrow. Loki made sure to leave that one there, a reminder to Thor not to kill his son again.

The plan for today was to meet everyone in the great hall for breakfast, all information could be shared easily with everyone present.

Your stomach grumbled loud. You haven't ate much these last few days. Finally your appetite was coming back with force, and today you felt extremely hungry.

You decided to head for the kitchen, leaving Fenrir and Loki asleep. You quietly opened the library door and sneaked into the hall in search of the kitchen.

You faintly remember where it was, but decided should you get lost, you'll enjoy exploring anyway.

The halls were quiet, and still dim. The morning light only just beginning to shine through this part of the palace.

The pots and pans banging about hinted that you were in the right direction, you approach large doors and gentle push it open.

You peak your head in, startling the kitchen staff who noticed you straight away.

You walk in fully and present yourself, but felt awkward as everyone stood motionless staring at you. Some looked at you frightened, whilst some offered you a smile.

"Good morning everyone"

An older lady stepped forward, "Good morning Princess, are you lost?"

You were getting used to the palace staff referring to you as Princess. You never thought you'd like such a title, but oddly you enjoy feeling royal rather than a simple mortal.

"No, I'm exactly where I want to be. I wonder if you have anything ready to eat, fruit would suffice" you ask feeling shy.

"Oh, you're hungry. Of course, please help yourself"

The older lady motioned to a selection of food spread out on a tray. You eyes trail over the different types of food, they all looked delicious.

You grab a small plate and choose a bit of everything. Your mouth watering as you pile the plate high.
