" Hmm, mumma?" He came back! I was so happy... But I completely forgot to tell my mother that! And now I was sure that she was worried out there for what was happening here with me.

" But what is he doing of the pregnancy now?!"
" He..." I looked back for a moment and when I didn't find anyone there, I looked back at the open space in front of me. Didn't know why I didn't want him to know what I was talking but I just didn't want him to know.

" Doctor?!" My mother gasped like she was in an Indian soap opera and I just sighed. Yes. It was a big deal that we went to the doctor in that Era... The Covid Era... But still!
" Yes. Doctor. But we wore masks and none of us is positive for covid... And it wasn't even in the hospital. Like the maternity ward was in a different place and it was safe... Besides, I got an ultrasound done and the baby is so cute,"

" And I need to talk to that man! Give him the phone right now!" And when my dad said that, I turned to look back once again and just like the last time, when I found no one there, I just looked back without worry.
" He's in an important meeting papa. I'll ask him to call you as soon as that is over!"

" Papa... Please! He'll call you by 6 na. Right after your sutsung ends," I don't know why I did that. I would have loved to see Sohit being virtually hit by my dad. But I just felt like I could give him a heads up before I made him meet my angry father.

" Sohi!?" I was going to walk to him and hug him but he stopped me midway and squinted his eyes. Gosh, he looked cute like that!
" Let ME guess. You were talking to some man whom you told that I had left and now asked him to not come here because I had come back! Right?!"

" I bet you called your ex only. What was his name?! Jai, right!?" So, I smiled hard when he declared that and giggled a little before he finally lost it
