Whaat just happened

It took me a few days but with that consistent apologetic approach that he was showering me with, especially that breakfast in the bed just served me with... I still had that angry look on my face but, inside, I was kinda melting from inside. Didn't know where my ex was at that moment. All I knew was that the moment I woke up that morning, I smelled some tasty idlis and the next thing I knew was that I was sitting on the bed with my boyfriend feeding me idlis that he made on his own. I mean, progress. Where he was when he came to my house and where he was that day! I give full credit to my teachings and maybe a little to youtube. 

Still, I couldn't believe that that man would do something like that just for me... I had thought that he'd just ask me to forget it all and just move on but there he was, sitting in front of me, feeding with his own hands those hot hot idlis that I hoped he made. I mean... How was I supposed to stay mad at him for long when he looked at me with those sorry eyes!? 

" You made these?" still I squinted my eyes because I COULDN'T LET HIM WIN LIKE THAT! I could not let him lose like that! I had pride and anger issues that he needed to know of! He could not make me forgive him so very easily! He had to work for it! 
" Yeah. Amma gave me the recipe... Even the Chutney I made on my own," Like I believed what he said! He was a man who could only make Maggie just like 40 days ago! 

Oh... 40 days. I just remembered that the lockdown would end in 5 days and then, he would be off to Bengaluru and I'd be stuck here, alone... It made me sad. But I didn't say anything. I just kept getting fed by his hands and kept staring at his smiling face. I wouldn't see it in 5 days now... Or was he not going? I did not know. I didn't know it and I wanted to ask him but right before I opened my mouth to speak and right after he stuffed a piece of idli in my mouth, I remembered that I was still mad at him to talk. So, I just scoffed and rolled my eyes as I kept chewing the food. 

" You need to soak rice overnight to make idli batter," I just stated it and thought that maybe, he had done that but no! 
" I used ID batter," he smirked at me and I only pulled the plate out of his hands in annoyance because he just said that he made it all and now, he was agreeing to cheat! 
" Hey! But I made the chutney on my own. I even scraped the coconut!" 
" Where did you get a coconut from?!" I frowned at his stupid logic 
" Haha. Funny question. Actually-"
" You used the chutney mix I had in my fridge, didn't you?!" I squinted my eyes harder, just waiting for him to agree because the moment he did, I was going to hit him. He knew that too because that man in front of me was now gulping and sweating hard. But, before the pillow could hit his face, he picked his phone out and showed me an app
" SWIGGY! I USED SWIGGY!" 
" YOU DIDN'T MAKE ANY OF IT?!" 
" NO! I USED SWIGGY TO BUY THE COCONUT!" I did not believe him. 

But I wanted to. I mean, it would be so nice to think that my boyfriend had the brains to wake up early and work in the kitchen just to make me some good food... It was soo romantic and such an impossible dream to achieve just a few days ago. So, I let it be. I let him loose. ONLY FOR THAT REASON! Otherwise, he was toh sleeping on the sofa again. But I let him go easily without troubling him any further and just continued eating my food. 

Now that I think about it, I've been eating a lot. Like, I'm hoarding food for my body or something... It's stupid, I know. But, I just felt like that. So, I felt like not eating anymore. But then that smell of those good idlis hit my nose and I just couldn't stop myself. 

" Like I believe you," still, I managed to whisper under my breath before his phone began ringing and he had to leave to receive an "Important" call. Like someone is more important than his pregnant girlfriend. He irritates me. He and his phone! They should be in a relationship actually. Not me and him! 

And I was still annoyed. So, I picked up my plate, squinted my eyes, and walked behind him, making sure that he didn't know that I was following him. I guess my ex had left because I did not find him in the other room that I had and I definitely did not find him on the balcony of that room, where Sohit always went to take his "private and important business" calls. Yeah right. I remember him talking to that Swara bullshit girl on that balcony only! And I was annoyed. So, I just wanted to check up on what my boyfriend was up to behind my back and in his business... 

" ARRE THEN TELL THAT STUPID MAN THAT I CAN'T BE REMOVED FROM THE TEAM AT THIS POINT NA! I know every fucking detail. VED!" But after getting there and slowly devouring my idlis, I knew one thing. He was frustrated and it was something related to his work. Because he was screaming, and shouting hard at his friend... He never did that to any of his friends... EXCEPT FOR KARTIK. That poor man was the only exception. 

" Yes sir, I understand..." and then, all of a sudden, his attitude completely changed. Like he was some good boy, talking to some big man...
" Yes. Yes but sir, I am the CEO. You can not fire me for that stupid reason," FIRE HIM!? WHAT THE HELL?! 
" Ok. YOU KNOW WHAT?! I TALKED ENOUGH WELL WITH YOU. YOU OLD, BALD BASTARD! I AM THE FUCKING CEO! JUGGLE... THAT'S MY IDEA, ENTIRELY! I HAVE THE RIGHTS TO ALL THE CODES THAT MY COMPANY USES AND YOU CAN NOT FUCKING FIRE ME FROM MY PLACE JUST BECAUSE I AM NOT READY TO MARRY YOUR STUPID LITTLE, IMBECILE DAUGHTER. DO YOU GET ME?! YOU FATSO!" Ok... What the fuck just happened?! Why was he screaming like that?! 
" Oh. So, you'll fire me for talking back to a board member now?! FINE! FUCK YOU! I QUIT! WORK WITHOUT MY CODES NOW! I FUCKING QUIT! YOU FUCKED UP BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and out of nowhere, he just threw his phone down 3 floors... What the hell was he thinking?!
