Chapter 7: Part II

"Vincente?"
"Yes?"
"Let's do something fun."
"Alright. What will we do?"
"What do you want to do?"
"You." Vincente has always been a simple guy. That's what made me attracted to him, besides his personality and looks. I put my hand on his shoulder and kiss him on the lips. He pulls me in closer and puts my hair to the side. He starts kissing my neck and I let him. It's funny how he manipulated me into this relationship and in the end, he came to me. I take off my shirt and let him embrace me.
He kisses my neck puts his hand on my chest and pulls me closer, I cover my mouth and try not to make any loud noises. He thrusts inside me and i let out a small moan. He keeps doing it just to tease me and I don't mind.
"Let me help you with that." He puts his hand on my mouth. He goes deeper making it hard not to moan. We both finish a little later and go to bed.
I wake up at 5 AM to turn off my alarm. Chamber, of course, is still sleeping. I go take a shower and after I dry my hair I decide to wear something simple. I finish doing my hair and look back to see that sleeping beauty has finally awoken.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty. Chamber frowns.
"I'm just toying with you."
"Remember last night-"
"Nope. Anyway, remember how you basically said you'd do anything for me?"
"Yeah?"
"Okay sooo, is working for Kingdom again one of them? Only for a bit."
"How'd you know I worked there?"
"A little birdie told me. Yes or no?"
"If it's what you want.."
"Alright. Get up, we're going out."
"Where are we going?"
"To Kingdom."
     
                             *At Kingdom HQ*
"Just wait here, Vincente. I need to get my card." Vincente nods. I scan my card for approval to be let inside the building. The door opens and I'm greeted by the other works. We make our way to the CEO's office. Once we reach there I knock on the door, "Come in."
CEO: "Ah, Mrs. Ahmed. Glad to see you back. If you've come to check on Rosa, she is doing well. Other than that, how may I be of use to you?
"Can he have his job back?" I point to Chamber, he looks puzzled. The CEO flares at him for a minute and then says, "Mr. Fabron?"
Chamber: "Yes.."
CEO: "You look much different from before. It would be a pleasure having you back on my team." They both shook hands and we left his office. We start walking down the corridor.
Chamber: "Mrs. Ahmed?"
"Huh?"
Chamber: "You're married?"
"No.. at least not yet."
Chamber: "Are you saying I'm sleeping with an engaged woman?"
"No?"
Chamber: "Please explain to me what is going on, Mrs. Ahmed."
"Ohh. Yeah, I told them we were married haha. No biggie."
Chamber: "You can't just tell people we're married!"
"Why not?"
Chamber: "Because we aren't."
"Yeah, but still. I don't want other women looking at you." Chamber sighed and kept walking. He's probably embarrassed about what just happened.
"Follow me, I'll show you the way.." he nodded his head and we went on our way. I showed him where I worked and where he would be working. Our offices weren't far from each other but still really far.
"I guess this is your stop. Bye."
Chamber: "Zara, wait.."
"Yes?"
Chamber: "..when do we leave?"
"In an hour. Meet me outside later." Chamber nodded and we went our separate ways. Maybe he was upset about what I had done? I cleared my mind, put on my coat, and got to work. I must have been working too hard because I had fallen asleep.

[Chamber/Vincente]
     Is this what my life is? Going back to my old job because my radiant girlfriend asked me to? Maybe I had been too harsh on her, I mean, she was joking. I can understand where she's coming from. She just doesn't want anybody else to have me, and I'm fine with that. I know I'm charming. I start working on a design for a new gun similar to my sniper rifle. I look around and notice the people working around me. They look so focused on their job. They all look like fancy scientist and here I am, looking like I came back from a wedding. Maybe I'm overthinking it? I wonder what Zara is doing right now.. she's probably sad about how I raised my voice at her. I should apologize. I look at the clock and realize there's only 20 minutes left until we can leave. I start packing my project and put it off to the side. I take off the coat I was provided and leave. It never hurts to be a little early.
    I start walking down the corridor to Zara's work place. Once I arrive I see her with her head down on the desk. I cant tell if she's sleeping or if she's crying. I walk up to her and poke her shoulder, she's sleeping. I take off her coat and replace it with my sweater. I pick her up and carry here back to the car so we can go home. It's been a long day, tomorrow will be even longer. I don't know what she's planning, but what I do know is that I'll be by her side. There's a lot of traffic tonight and we're probably gonna get home late. I put my hand on her back and keep driving.
